I find this song beutifully sad bc in the same way Magnolia has no idea how wonderful she is, the narrator has no idea how wonderful she herself may be. I interpret this as the narrator adoring Magnolia while also ignoring her own beauty, and this ironically makes her into "Magnolia" too.

Because of this song. I've been wanting to name my first daughter Magnolia and my second laufey. It's gotten me through times✨. Especially when she sings “she doesn't know that the world is turning just for her”. It makes me feel okay like somehow I can be magnolia and the world is turning just for me when I'm having a bad day. She doesn't know the magic she created

Magnolia is like my mom. Sturdy, full-bloomed, and has soft color. She often stay up for finishing her works but still chit chat with me and hugging me in midnight when she hears me crying in the bed room. She is one of the brightest one for me, her personality has developed much more now, who did say that personality can’t change since someone turns in certain age? My mom is the example of personality can be fluid and the more i meet her the more she is wiser for me
