@@hisssThe Guards are responsible for the ceremony, while the police officers are there to maintain order. This wisdom came to me a few days ago after someone finally explained the relationships to me. Unfotunately, I didn't understand that properly. However, I maintain that the horses should no longer be used to stand still for an hour, with the burden of a rider in full regalia, in a situation such as is now taking place. And last, because I don't want to end my last days in the dungeons of the palace, I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and of course for the possible insults to the Kings Guards.

It's always tourists, us brits have common sense

The level of disrespect and rudeness of British tourists abroad is much more serious than what we are presented with here. The cause is the lack of instructions, which prevents visitors from knowing that they are visiting a living museum. This organization is cracking on all sides and there is hardly any military discipline. The somewhat more serious incidents are committed by London alcoholics and homeless people.

​@paulvanderweerd7456 👏👏 Your comment is so true. Brits can behave so shamefully abroad. However, tourists often get pulled apart on these videos. They are not always disrespectful, they may be on holiday, and may or may not know the seriousness of their actions when on foreign turf. Be kind.

@@celestinevander4079 Usually I am hardly bothered by British tourists. The cause, Celestine, of not (wanting to) adapt appears to be more of an age or generation issue. Our own young holidaymakers really don't behave much better, on the contrary. So I will be kind, yet fair in my judgment. ​@SoDenisa they are allowed to yell. There is a sign there stating not to get too close to the horse, as well as to not touch the reins. It would be frustrating having to tell so many people the same thing.

Some of the regulars to the King's Cavalry do feed the horses mints, but only after asking the troopers and getting permission. Just anyone giving the horses anything is not all right! The tourists can be very disrespectful.

The problem is that people do not recognize boundaries. It's quite simple, really, if it does not belong to you, you keep your hands off!

Actually that's not correct they are allowed to touch the horse at their own risk, as they may bite some more so than others lol... it is the reins they are not allowed to touch

Their needs aren’t ignored, if the rider can feel the horse had enough, he calls the bell and they swap the horse so that one can de-stress itself with food and running around as much as it wants, these guards are incredibly good with their partners

The horses can leave whenever they want. They like having something to do and they get to do all sorts of regular horse things and more fun stuff that other horses can only dream of too. Wouldn't you get bored being in the same park and house every single day with nothing new to see or do too?

The horses do not have their faces jerked on to remove people's hands the very considerate guards generally allow their partners the ability to bite whoever they want with the odd exception and tough titties for the bitten if they can't convince the horse to let go because the guards won't intervene and help I've seen them looking very privately amused (showing a small smirk) while they point to the sign saying horses can and do bite

You can touch the horse it’s the guard’s horse not urs but just don’t feed it. You don’t feed random horse but you can pet them so chill out

​@michaelharrison4286 just because you can, doesnt mean you should. They are biting (sometimes to be cheeky) but primarily as a form of communication to get tf away.

The horse can get agitated from all the people and pinch, (thats what they always do in these videos, if it was a bite it would like actually hurt.) So just ask for a photo, if you can, do it quickly, say thank you and move on.

@@claireturnbull7719 If the tourists don't have any experience with horses they aren't going to know what a rein is. It maybe written on the wall but they still aren't going to know what they are doing wrong.

The signs don't mention anything about touching the horses. It only says the horses may kick or bite. It is, however, extremely disrespectful to do so.

Anytime I went to my granddaughters horse shows. If I walked up to someone with their horse I always asked. I never assumed it was ok. This is no different especially since they are on guard duty!!

They quite honestly shouldn't have to. If people touch the reins or do something out of pocket, they get yelled at. Simple and 8/10 effective for the people who were around.

Sometimes (and I mean rarely) If you are a regular and you sorta live in the area, people know you as a good person, you can sometimes give the horse a mint, like one singular, then you move along and let the horse get back to work.
