Landlord should be ashamed of himself for calling this “move in ready” considering its barely safe to walk on but you are guys are doing an amazing job flipping it. Found your channel by accident one day and now I am totally invested in this transformation!

"Move in ready" - that landlord is lucky he didn't get sued exposing all of you to such a high degree of mold and mildew. Thank goodness your husband knows how to remove and eradicate the moldy flooring, insulation, etc. You are all doing a yeoman's amount of remodeling work. Such a blessing. The new flooring looks so much better! You did a great job painting and tackling those cabinets. May God Bless you, your family and those you love!

Girl power!!! Way to go rehabbing that trailer. It’s looking so homey. Your landlord is very blessed that y’all moved in and took on a total rehab. We did the same when we move to a small town in NC. Rentals were impossible to find, so we found an abandoned old house that the owner let us fix up in exchange for rent. When we left, he had a nice home he could now rent out.

Roper washer and dryer from Lowe's---best buy ever for me. Made in USA and should be around $800 or $900 for the pair. Simple white, side-by-side set with an adgitator---which I think is essential in a washer. I've had my pair for 5 years and love it! Love your videos---y'all are doing a great job!

Landlord should give you FREE rent along with paying for all supplies for all the labor you and your husband are doing.Boy, I hope he realizes what a bargain he got. Move in ready? Watching you clean the furnace really takes me back. When I was a little girl, my dad made a living working on cars and mobile home furnaces. I would go along with him when I wasn't in school and hold the flashlight and hand him tools while he worked. You're such a hard worker!!

Your trailer is starting to look like a comfy & cozy home with all of the work you're doing. Can't wait to see the final outcome for the whole trailer. We decided to purchase a front-loading Maytag washer and dryer set. The reason why was due to the fact that the washer doesn't have to be drained every month of stagnant water sitting in the overflow catch basin. We found out about having to do this when we bought a Samsung set and 2-3 months later our laundry room and washer smelled like rotten eggs and we couldn't figure out the problem. We had a maintenance tech come in to check out the washer and he said our problem was the overflow basin was filled with stagnant water and showed us where the drain for this was located and how to do it. He said to drain it every month or two depending on how often it's used or if we start smelling rotten eggs again. We decided to sell the set and purchase a set that drains the overflow by itself. At the time, 4 years ago, Maytag was the only brand that offered this feature so we bought the set. I'm totally invested in your renovation videos and so happy when a notification comes through that you've uploaded a new one.

We just recently purchased a new washer and dryer a month ago. My brother owns a furniture/appliance store and he recommended 'Speed Queen'. It was a bit pricey but I'm loving it and feel it was well worth the money. Your home is looking so cozy and inviting after all you and your family's hard work. That landlord should be ashamed for even contemplating renting that place in the condition you found it.

I’m a fairly new subscriber and I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your videos. It is amazing how much you get done in such a short time. My husband and I have been renovating a second home, a fixer upper, and I prefer doing the messy work and cleaning up. I am learning new skills as we go along but anything electrical I back away from. I’m terrified of getting shocked too. I can’t wait to see what your home looks like when it’s completed and I’m enjoying the process.

I have always lived in a mobile homes one thing u should do if u have bad winters. Check your pipes especially the ones on exterior walls make sure to have enough insulation to avoid pipes freezing and breaking in the winter. For the water pipe coming up from the ground into the mobile home make sure to wrap that good in heat tape. Broken pipes in winter is a true nightmare. We just bought a new washer dryer set Samsung top loader I'm loving this set. I don't have much to compare it to it's our first new washer and dryer lol. Married 30 yrs come October and we were given a used set about 25 yrs ago( whirlpool) and it's has finally died 😢. The laundry room is turning out beautiful LOVE your decorations. Can't wait for the next video ❤️

I painted my whole house white...I'm not one for painting....so i figure it would be cheaper and less work if i just change colors with my decor....what a game changer!!! You are one brave lady to do reno's on your own...High five to you!!

I enjoy watching your videos! I am a mobile home person myself. I bought a 1986 Oakwood in Nov of 2007. It was a mess too. I did not know a lot about diy, I knew how to paint, garden and make things look good. Since I bought this mobile home I've learned how to do subfloor work, basic plumbing, installing toilets, vanities, sinks and faucets. It has and still is an adventure. I also am thinking about starting a furniture restoration flipping side hustle. I have always got used furniture and fixed it up for myself. Just sharing from one mobile home liver to another : )) Keep up the good work! Proud of you and yours!! P.S I have the same curtains hanging on my back door. I don't use the backdoor, I have a cabinet there, But hung some curtains to make it look nice. The flowered curtains blue and grey you can see them in your video. Just relating!!! (got um at the dav .99, I love it)

Just a suggestion...when we repainted the vent covers in our house we used spray paint...it was much easier and the coverage was excellent. :)

The mobile home is looking fantastic! So much brighter with fresh, white paint. Did you show the property manager all the work you've done so far? I'm sure he noticed! Curious as to what he had to say about the renovation so far. He must have been blown away. He's going to be sad to see you leave when you find your forever home.

It is a joy to watch your videos! So many RU-vidrs that are doing renos talk about doing something, but it may take them 3 or 4 more videos to actually do it. And they take forever to finish a room. I think that is because they are trying to drag it out so they can make more money off the videos. Don't know, but very exasperating! You just get it done!!! WTG!!!

I researched appliances when we needed a new fridge. You are right. We bought a Whirlpool fridge. From now on, that's the ONLY brand of appliances we will buy.

I will do several things myself but like I told my husband over a week ago when we remodeled our kitchen I will do anything but I won't do electrical or plumbing because I ain't no plumber or electrician ( so my husband did all that).

You work so hard. But it looks so good. We always had to fix up our homes that we bought through our marriage. We painted an old rental inside and after we did that they decided to sell it and we had to move. We enjoyed the look of the remodels we did. Now to old to do the work.

Fantastic job, looks awesome. With all the work you guys are doing maybe you should just buy that mobile home. The view is heavenly!!!! Tip, "MAKE SURE THE PIPES UNDER THE TRAILER ARE WRAPPED AND HAVE A HEATER. I'VE LEARNED FROM EXPERIENCE, MANY BURST PIPES. Also make sure all of the underneath of the trailer is insulated!!!! A very expensive expense that I could have avoided. Also when it gets cold, 32 degrees and below. Put every faucet you have on hot water drip, including your tub. This will help them from freezing. I'm in Texas now but was born and raised in Massachusetts. The winters are brutal on mobile homes.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I had a mobile home in the 90s that I used plywood from riding lawnmowers that a manager from Home Depot let me have. I painted then stenciled. I then sealed it. Love what you are doing and can’t wait to see more and the final tour!!!
