I love this kind of message. No whining or moping because somebody was an ass and mistreated you, just kick their sorry ass to the curb and get on with life. I would hope if I had any kids that they would have this kind of strength and pep when faced with a sorry situation.
I listened to this years before watching Hart of Dixie, and am now just watching again for the first time since then. I had NO idea that she was anybody!
These country singers have such good advise. " You won't string me along, you better be movin' on. ". I wish I would've said this to some of mine! Psychologists could learn a thing or two from them!
Rachel Houtchens yes as long as not bashing + disrespecting president trump with that rat faced Paisley wanna be cowboy chump game over for him Carrie Underwood + him ride off in the sunset on CV bicycle built for two heading west to California adios fun dahos lol
@@waynecooley8682 so we should forced to salute every President we ever have huh? I'm honestly just curious when Obama was President or any other Democrat was President did you have this same mindset? Did you just mindlessly follow whoever is in charge? The lord gave you mine for a reason and free will. It be a sin not to use either.
She's like the Britney Spears of country music! Just Dance brought me here as well as learning this for karaoke since country is more prevalent and not my genre. Gotta give the people what they want! Not a bad song at all and very catchy!
Any man who is dating a woman THAT beautiful, then chooses to cheat on her....is a damn fool. Not a country music fan, but have no choice but to give this video a thumbs up.
I recognised her face from somewhere and it was really bugging me, until I remembered her as.... Dr. Jordan Denby on television's Anger Management (Charlie Sheen's ill-fated vehicle after he got axed from Two and A Half Men).
This song and video is really a show of force - mastery of song, dance, and physical fitness. Very few people even could perform this, much as could be said about Meat Loaf's singing, or Michael Jackson's dancing. It's not one of my favorite songs really, but sometimes I watch it because I think the video was recorded as a "shock and awe" demonstration that it's possible to train to perform like this, and it made its point.
Yes, she's amazing in this respect. She performed this song live at the 2010 American Country Music Awards, run a search here on RU-vid and watch that. She performed an extremely physical routine while singing live. Not many performers can do this!
dkmain27513 Thank you. It takes a lot to claim to appreciate the arts, and I don't know if I have the breadth of knowledge to make that claim. My mother has a university degree in music and teaches it, and performs, so I have seen the scale of technical knowledge behind things like this. The chords, duration of different notes, really the math behind music is pretty intense. I work in engineering and software, and would never claim to know more than a talented musician.
Remember, though, she is not actually singing in this video. She is performing to recorded music. She is lip-syncing in other words. That is fine--EVERYONE lip-syncs in music videos, and that is understood. It is NOT the same thing as lip-syncing in a live performance, which is a deception and really never acceptable.
She is like the country version of Christina Aguilera. Btw this is my first time listening to the sing. Is it wrong to like the dancing more than the song.
Music & Art is a part of my soul I absolutely love good dance and a good show, the song could suck but if the dance is good I'm in!! Sometimes the video ruins the song sometimes the video makes the song, I love and appreciate artist that still practice putting on a good show. I would of never listen to this song until I seen the video now I like it. The upbeat actually helps as I don't siren to slow stuff very often. ☺
I absolutely LOVE the fact that she does her own dancing in these videos! Why is she not so much bigger on the radio? She is adorable and has some great songs that are unbelievably catchy!
She is not big on the radio because she has succeeded in a big way on Broadway. Then she went into comedy on How I Met Your Mother (most recently on How I Met Your Father on Hulu - episodes 9 and 10). She has pursued more along the lines of acting, or acting and singing and not just straight singing for the most part. Earlier in her career she did more singing (and videos like this one) before she went and did the other things. She is just super talented.
This is a hilarious parody of country music. now sure who these people are, but they look like they have a lot of professional help making this parody.
She is the young girl on the movie Jumanji named Sarah Whittle that played the game in the beginning and was chased out of the house by the bats. My oh my, how she has grown up !
I love hearing her own music because I'm a HUGE fan of Legally Blonde:The Musical and she did AMAZING as Elle. I had heard this song before but never knew she sang it. :) My school is doing Legally Blonde:The Musical and I'm a Delta Nu :)
@Brandon Shawn Taylor so we should be thankful for the crumbs forgot forgot sorry must get on our knees now and thank the master for the little bit of crumbs that we receive.
@@StormLaker agreed and you can tell if it ain't Country if somebody that openly admits that they don't even like country and they like this song that proves it ain't Country. Just because someone's got a country twang don't mean that the song is country.
Hauraunah how the hell is somebody as talented as laura bell ne thing like that old woman doris was not pretty at all laura is absolutely gorgeous doris wasn't country she was pop and laura's country to the core so idk where similarities lie between the two
I love Laura Bell Bundy so much!! She has sass!!! Great voice to, don't understand why everyone didn't love her music!! Where is she at now???? I keep looking to see if she had new songs out!!! Does anyone know what she is doing???? Miss her!!!
Her live performance of this song on the 2010 ACM Awards was exceptional. She did the full choreography all.while singing live for the entire song! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P8_OnfiqDpY.html
No, she is who she is! I am surely smitten with her attitude, energy, poise and determination. Learned to handle the ropes in Broadway, applied that to the country game 👍. And rising from the usuals of both screen venues on the west coast. Oysters woman!
Holy crap - I was not expecting to like the song this much! I was also not expecting it to be this energetic. I just don't get why I can't find it on Spotify!!!
Some big star singer should cover and release this and give it the credit it's due it's be a number 1 sensation if it had the backing of a major celeb singer , I had never heard this song before until recently so don't know how big a hit it was when it came out originally but I literally love it x
