Arguably, more songs mentioned about Georgia than any other US state : Rainy Nights in Georgia, Georgia on my Mind, Georgia Peaches, Georgia Rose and off course Georgia Rain, just to name a few . Who agrees? A great song... God Bless Georgia.

Actually according to Google New York had the most mentions, 51, although it estimates that many of those references probably refer to the city, not the state. The second was California, with 26 mentions, followed by Georgia (21), Texas (13), Tennessee (11), Alabama (9), Mississippi (8), Kentucky (7), and Hawaii and Virginia (6).

I can never get enough of that Lauren Alaina, she is one heck of an amazing singer, I still think today she is the one that should had won American Idol, not Scotty. But I guess he got it because he really needed the help to go forth with his singing career. And Lauren had it from day one. She is a born natural.

I just went to ATL for the first time. This song was playing in my mind the entire time lol. I love this city and can't wait to come back. I was hoping to see more of this rural type of Georgia but Atlanta is so big and I didn't want to get lost. I really had a great time here.
