Laura Vitale Makes No-Machine Coffee Ice Cream 

I recently gave up drinking coffee, about 6 weeks ago, buuut I never said I couldn't eat it!! Lol looks delish! Thanks for sharing!

Laura I love your content! I put mixing bowl and beaters in freezer for 1 hour and fridge my CooleSwan (Irish Whiskey cream liquor. I also grind the instant espresso to a fine powder no water dilution. I put them 1/2 pint containers as they freeze quicker. Please try CooleSwan I think it’s better than Bailey’s.

I have an "Ice Cream Sandwich" recipe given to me by my housemate and it also uses whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk as the base and it's delicious! I always thought it was a semifreddo but recently found out that semifreddo uses eggs. For her recipe, she mixes in some crushed Violet Crumble honeycomb chocolate bars into the whipped cream and condensed milk mixture. To make it a sandwich, she lines the bottom of the container with a layer of malt biscuits faced down, pour the whipped cream mixture in then cover the top with a layer of malt biscuits faced up and in the same direction as the bottom layer. The moisture from the cream mixture will soften the dry malt biscuit so you can easily cut through with a knife. Could you do a recipe for a pistachio semifreddo or something similar? I really love pistachios but there aren't many desserts which features pistachios.

If you add the instant coffee to the vanilla and liquor, it will dissolve without adding water to your base (which can make it icy).

Alcohol freezes at a lower temperature than water; therefore, ice cream containing alcohol will be less prone to develop ice crystals and will be easier to scoop after being removed from the freezer.

The heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla base seriously makes the simplest and most delicious plain vanilla ice cream. At that point you can add anything you want to make it your own. It's so much better than anything you can get in the store. When I've shared with friends, family and coworkers they are blown away at how easy it is to make. Thanks, Laura!

I will add a splash of Espresso Kahlua (which has a higher alcohol content than regular Kahlua). I was told by a salesman at the liquor store that the regular Kahlua sold until four decades ago had a high liquor than the regular Kahlua today.
