@@OmarWkbari It still wasn’t as common as it is now. Nobody thinks anything when a 7ft pops out to the 3point line. Even 10 years ago it was like “What is he doing?”
Nets 4life europeans look like they are more technique and IQ based players. These guys play pro really early while other players are in high school and college.
Most foreigners are drilled in fundamentals. USA is all about highlights and athleticism. Luka been playing professionally since he was 16. Then you have players like Jokic. Lauri is finally having his breakout season. Giannis is the most dominant force in the league. Oddly enough; the top 3 (possibly top 5) players in the league right now are all foreigners.

Markanen scored only 9 points when guarded by Porzingis, he also got blocked 3 times by KP, and didn't even try going 1v1 against him. Only wide open threes. KP, meanwhile, made a lot of shots over Markanen. Even caught him asleep on defense to force 2OT.
nope markkanen scored 14 points on porzings, had more rebounds, better %ts, fewer turnovers and was the principal reason his team got the W. He completly outplayed porzings, stop crying
Guilherme Vieira How am i crying? Markanen was the principal reason 2OT even happened, dragged his team down defensively late in the game. Obviously his rebounds are higher when he's grabbing all the possible defensive rebounds he can while porzingis instead of that, transitions into offense leaving the rebound to someone like kanter. And how can his TS% not be higher when he took like 10 uncontested threes but KP shot over defenders.
