My favorite part about this fandom is how every fan expresses their specialty art through it. All the fandom songs need to be playlisted so we can have them on during the first crewmate meeting. We need an OFMD fan festival. Thanks so much for this dear song Elliart 7!

This is such a sweet song 🥰🥰 Also I hadn’t thought about the show having parallels to The Color Purple, but I can definitely see them. Like the subtle and overt ways that Ed wears the color (I think he’s the only person who wears purple in the show).

and It's intentional too! David Jenkins said he wanted to use purple to symbolize Ed and Stede growing closer together and more confident in their feelings

If you look at Art of Fuckery episode, during the montage of moments together, you see Stede wear purple too in the moment they spend on deck with the crew with Ed laying down beside him sharing a laugh.
