I’ve heard Michael Richards say he studied all of Art Carney’s Ed Norton entrances in total amazement. I’m not taking anything away from McKeeon and Lander, but Kramer is much more “Nortonish” than Lenny and Squiggy.
When I say hello I always have Squiggy in the back of my mind saying it too. I haven't heard him say it in a couple decades. Ty for this because now I can refresh my memory of how it's said. lol
Ahh man these actors+ actresses were brilliant and shirleys diction ,her voice was sparkingly clear and confident, plus she was gorgeous, and a extremely good actress
There were a lot of laughs - but there were serious episodes as well serious meaning true loving friendship moments that showed how much they cared for each other. "Squiggy in love". "Lenny's Crush" were 2 of my favorites. "Look where you leap where Laverne thinks she's pregnant and Lenny asks her to marry him.... He & Squiggy flipped a coin... He won ". 💓. The boys may have drove the girls nuts but they had a deep care for each other.
I love that somebody did this and I love that every single one of them makes me laugh! Well played gentleman well played and fly free I hope you say hello to the angels for us!
This is where Kramer got his entrance inspiration... Nothing tops Lenny’s: “HELLO!!!!” I have started yelling this every time I enter my home even if nobody is home.... XD
I got a LOT of mileage (in my younger years) outta using Squiggy's "hello gellz" as a nightclub bartender, and your everyday, average 'creep' ...I owe Squigmond HUGE !!!!
David came into a Kentucky Fried Chicken on Sunset I used to work at in the mid 80s. Great guy, very funny, great stories. He said the Eddie Mekka (The Big Ragu!) was one of the best song and dance men out there.
Thank you for putting together this montage of my favorite L&S scenes. These extremely talented actors combined with extremely talented writers made good clean fun, that I looked forward to each week. I wish they still made shows like this today.
GOSH !! Me and my Sister Loved this show ! It was the funniest show on TV and those guys helped make it like it was !! Man those were GREAT TIMES !!! 😂😂🤣🤣
In addition to being hilarious as Squiggy, Mr. Lander seemed like such a lovely person in interviews. I'm so sorry he struggled for so long with health problems. Rest in peace, Mr. Lander. You've left a wonderful legacy.💙🌿💚
That was Heartwarming. I grew Up watching Lavern and Shirley, that was When You had Good Quality TV. Not like the Garbage they Have Now. Thank God for RU-vid!! Grace and Peace, Ralph In CT.
R.I.P. David L. Lander (June 22, 1947 -- December 4, 2020), who played Andrew "Squiggy" Squiggman. Born David Leonard Landau, he died of complications of multiple sclerosis at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Torrance, California. 2020 continues to be a lousy year.
I loved how Lenny & Squiggy by coincindence were neighbors when Laverne & Shirley in LA. 😂🤣 I remember that there was some type of connecting storage closet with a small door where Lenny & Swiggy magically appear in their new place. But, it wasn't on this video.
I just saw the episode with Pat Carroll as Shirley's mother a couple of weeks ago and she said, anything could crawl in off the street. HELLO! She was 100% Pat Carroll and was just mortified and backing away from them. It was hilarious! Wish they'd shown all of it here.
David L. Lander made his first "HELLO" in heaven the moment we mourned his passing at age 73. He joins Penny Marshall, Betty Garrett and Phil Foster in a better place that knows nothing but good times. RIP to the aforementioned talented quartet of actors from L&S. ☁️🌤️☁️
There was an episode where the guys bust in and one of them days "Hello Laverne" but pronounces her name " LA BURN". Can anyone help me or was this my happy memories that had a little imagination added to the dialogue.
I'VE BEEN WATCHING THE RERUNS OF L & S ON PLUTO, FORGOT HOW FUNNY THIS SHOW WAS...FUNNIER THAN ... (I LOVE LUCY) ..R.I.P. DAVID LANDERS, AND THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS
