I would be critical of the dismount but I have ZERO gymnastic skills and really would have busted my ass just walking up to the bars.

Scary. Her spotters were not where near the position to be able to catch her. Glad she didn't seriously hurt her neck or back.

They're not allowed to spot during a dismount, and honestly I don't see how he could have caught her even if he was. She flew so far out there was no way he could have stopped her from hitting the ground.

Oh my gosh! Is she ok!? Her face just smeared across the mat! I've never seen that! Where was her spotter? Poor little girl must be embarrassed, but I thought she was awesome! She could barely raise her arms to finish. Goodness, please don't cry. I feel so sad for her. You know that must have hurt pretty bad. 😢

You can't have spotters on the dismount. They are coming from such height so fast the spotter would just get hurt trying to help someone coming with that much force.

It’s nobody’s fault. She peeled off of the bar, out of hers and his control. She’s been doing this skill for a while and her coach is standing where all coaches are ALLOWED to stand. It was too quick to grab her.

Actually stopping her rotation even by a fraction would’ve resulted in her landing on her head. She also peeled off faster than anyone could’ve been expected to move
