I really adore lavos' design, lore and kit, he did feel weird to use because of his ability cooldowns, but nonetheless he is fun. I do wonder how most people survive with him, in the past i mostly shield gated (the mechanic was fun and fast lol) but with the latest touch ups to the game and new tech we've been getting, frames like lavos shake up my playstyle quite a bit, its a fun process to explore other methods of survivability or experience different frames with alternative playstyles. Comments aside, excellent video my guy.

I always been maining Lavos, and now I get to dip my weapon nuggets on whatever status sauces I wanted for each situation.

Awesome video! It really highlights Lavos’ glow up. :D I recently returned to Warframe because of him and the elemental rework is icing on the cake. 😂 The cooldown system is neat too because it reminds me of other MMOs play with abilities and such. Learning the rotations is fun. 😊

Brozime had the absolute most 5-head statement of all of them, while The Kengineer has a respectable opinion. Effective and versatile, despite not being a "Mash 4 to Win" frame like Brozime prefers. Plus, a one-man primer of all status. Also, "Clunky cooldowns"? His 1 and 2 are easily spammable and his 3 is pretty much a "Recharge my 4 instantly" button, and his 4 is an ultra-wide range status proc machine that has respectable damage plus guaranteed heat. People slept on Lavos because people like Brozime exaggerated the existence of Cooldowns, but it's so refreshing to be able to ignore all negative impact of having an Energy bar to manage (Ignore Magnetic procs, Energy Drain mechanics in any game mode that has them, etc.), plus a nearly infinite source of any and all status procs one might want or need in wide swathes of areas. I feel proud of the fact I've mainly used Lavos since he came out, even though many people slept on or downplayed his efficacy.

I love lavos especially with his valence augment. One of my favorite frames

Great video Lavos is a personal fave since I don't have to worry about energy and the utilities are great since guns can do all the work for him. Those that disliked him usually fall into the "If it doesn't play the game for me afk I will hate it"

I'm contemplating replacing Catalyse with Xata's Whisper, tbh. For quite an average nuke, I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze to dedicate your existence to bringing it off cooldown. Considering he's now best built as a weapons platform, Xata's Whisper seems like it would absolutely GO OFF on Lavos. I'm feeling there's more benefits to running it over Catalyse. The question is whether it's worth losing out on Heat, Blast, Radiation, Gas, for this? Could be made up with his weapons loadouts and sentinel companion, or am I talking bollocks? Genuinely curious what people's thoughts are.

Nidus has always been my main, but Lavos is my #2 most used warframe.

i still replace his 2 with nourish for viral dmg i dont think ill ever use magnetic or blast even tho they are strong i just want it to stay simple and my weapon alredy have blast in it. Also bro how hard is lavos on controler? like i alredy had problems with controler before xD

Still find it bizarre how Lavos gets so much hate when he can very easily nuke entire tile sets even before the augment and the update. But hey hopefully he gets some more love, for as one such as I can only guide those to a future I will never have (Limbo proceeds to Mourn).

I’ve been playing lavos for about a month and a half now he’s fun and does good damage but his ability’s do nothing great compared to just shooting your guns he definitely need his ability’s changed a bit

Lavos seems to always crash my game not sure why. Nothing else does , I never get crashes in warframe but. I made lavos a few days ago and if I play him I almost certainly crash about 10 min into a mission

I just had a thought... And I'm VERY new to Warframe, so let me know if this is dumb, but... Subsuming Jade to put Ophanim Eyes on Lavos? Infinite armor strip and slowdown because the duration is longer than the 10sec cooldown? With the potential to stack a bunch of damage types on it as well? So just LOOKING at enemies applies multiple statuses? Am I wrong?

The only problem with lavos is the element you pick resets after casting an ability, this makes him very clunky to play, it just doesn't feel good having to constantly infuse the same element over and over again.

Whoever the person who called the cooldowns clunky rlly don’t understand, that this game in general would probably be better off with pure cooldowns cuz the energy system is rather clunky and energy is rather unreliable at times even with all the stuff in your favor xD
