John and Jack discuss his progression from associate to partner. Jack takes us through his transition from his 9th Circuit clerkship to joining a law firm. They discuss Jack’s initial expectations as a new associate and his many firsts, including depositions, hearings, trials, and other stand-up opportunities and the mentorship he received along the way. Jack offers tips for managing stress and workload.
