My first successful "solo run" (of four solo attempts) of the annual Everglades Challenge. Piloting my Hobie Adventure Island in the company of friends. Camping on remote beaches, eating sand, surf and bratwurst. Much fun was had by all!
awesome accomplishment! Had you done an mods to your boats ? I have a 2018 TI and planning a big expedition so curious to know what precautions/mods you did?
My boat is a “stock” 2017 Adventure Island with reversible Mirage drive and Vantage CT seats. The only “mods” are the addition of Hobie trampolines and AI spinnaker kit.
