Finally time to topdress the lawn with CarbonizPN and sand level the yard to give a newer and better lawn transformation for 2024. Was a rough one this year due to the majority of the work being done by myself.

my goodness man, casting the sand is already hard enough but loading it into a gorilla cart and hauling it to the spot AND casting + raking...you're a beast !

How many bags per 1,000 sq ft would you recommend of the carbonizpn? Can you lay this with a landzie compost spreader?

The material is so thin that ideally 10 bags would give you good coverage for 1000 sqft but that’s just expensive. And yes you can use a Landzie spreader, matter of fact I was thinking about it at the time I was laying it down.

@@MyLawnStory thanks so much for the feedback… good to know about the landzie haven’t been able to find any info that you can. And 10 bags per 1,000 ft? Well that’s good to know, much more than I thought, the bag/website says 20-40 lbs (1/2-1 bag) per 1,000 ft

@@brandonrogers4415 I see it near impossible to spread 1 bag over 1000. Maybe if you use a topdressing machine but in the video you see how I open the bag and spread it out over the lawn. It just doesn’t go a long way.

One other question, about how match sand was needed/you recommend per 1000 sq ft? Going to do this same project in the fall and trying to figure out how much of each I’ll need

Half those products you are using are unnecessary. Punch holes and topdress with 80/20 sand compost. Fertilze with high N, and you're done. Most lawn youtubers have become product scammers. Please dont become one of them

Only time will reveal what products work and doesn’t work but we all know the actual labor that goes into the yard is what makes it great !
