Judge should pause the trial in the morning, and send Dump to jail for 24 hours. Then admonish him that every time he violates the gag order, the jail time will be doubled. At about the 8 day mark, Dump may finally learn to shut his trap.

Trials aren't paused if the defendant goes to jail for contempt. The trial continues in his absence. But someone should slip a note to Justice Merchan to allow Ttump to have his phone in jail, that way he can continue to violate the gag orders and just sit there until the trial ends.

Obviously it’s no fun being a juror in this case. Any other defendant would be charged with contempt of court. Unless he’s penalized, he’ll continue. Multiple witnesses saw him nod off.

What does it matter? He has answered to none of the gag orders. The judge just keeps on like a parent who keeps telling an unruly child to behave or he’s going to get it.
