I remember my elderly babysitter, Mrs McRae, was a huge fan of the Lawrence Welk Show and stopped everything to watch when it was on back in the early 1970s. I miss wholesome entertainment like this. Thank you for posting it!

Lawrence Welk was a patriot and a Catholic who stood for America and Christians everywhere! God bless him. May he rest in peace. He should be a hero for everyone.

Bob Havens’ trombone solo near the end is great! A highlight, and the second of two featured trombone moments in this episode.

Funny, how this show had a reputation for being geared towards old fogies when I, as a kid, used to watch and enjoy it. I couldn't even get my parents to watch it with me. lol Thanks.
