What an absolutely miserable excuse for a judge -- from beginning to end. If this isn't bias or corruption on the judge's part, then it's incompetence. For the jury's verdict to be dismissed or suppressed is an obvious of miscarriage of justice. For a jury to have to take matters into their own hands, post-trial, to ensure their verdict is known -- this is completely unacceptable. Best thing this judge can do is to claim she was drunk. Her behaviour throughout was of someone who has very little respect for the judicial process. Massachusetts is the last place I'd expect to see the kind of shit that has been happening in this trial -- but thankfully, it's among the first I'd expect for this buIIshit to be publicly exposed, and then rectified, from the ground up.
A "poll of the jury" is different from a straight acquittal. That's 12-0. No need to poll anything. The jury foreperson checks the "not guilty" box and returns the jury form to the judge. Next step is the judge adjudicating her not guilty on those charges. Polling the jury on the hung charge is a separate issue from these two other charges, legally. And is up to the judge. There's literally nothing left up to the judge with a unanimous verdict.
The jurors need to be heard from, under oath. And the judge needs to present the jury form to the attorneys from both sides. She knows what they voted on these two charges. The charges were separate. The jury form had "Guilty" and "Not Guilty" boxes for EACH charge. Which did the foreperson check? If the jurors are telling the truth, then Karen needs to be adjudicated not guilty on those two charges. Simple as that. Whether or not the judge acted unethically or corruptly, is a separate issue.
There are so many things wrong with what happened with this verdict slip! It’s yet ANOTHER BAD look for this 🤡 of a judge! I don’t like this attorney that always gets interviewed on this case because she has to work with this judge, therefore how honest and transparent is she really going to be! I keep saying, it would be nice if this news channel would have an attorney speak who doesn’t have to work with this judge and see what they say as to how this judge is truly handling this trial! 🤷🏽♀️ Also, the attorney talked about how the jury would have to identify themselves in a hearing, but I believe the judge could also have what they call an “In camera hearing”, it’s where the jurors meet with the judge and all the attorneys in the judge’s chambers, I believe and discuss what to do from there. It’s all on record, but the public doesn’t get to see it. Now, of course, with how shady this judge has been, I’m hoping they film this so the public can actually see what’s happening, they don’t have to show the juror’s faces, but I believe there’s too much scrutiny and lack of trust surrounding this judge and this case/trial, for it not to be live streamed! 🤞🏾🤞🏾 I feel like this whole issue is happening because the judge didn’t ask and clarify if the jury acquitted on any charges! She didn’t have to “poll” each juror, but should have asked the foreperson, before jumping straight to a mistrial, if there were any counts they decided on, or if they were hung on all counts…..a two min conversation literally and none of this would have happened! Some people don’t want to think this judge did this on purpose and that it could have been an error. She has been an attorney and judge for YEARS!! This was Law 101…..basic stuff! She knew better and I think it’s more biased shenanigans from this judge who should have agreed to recuse herself when the defense first submitted a motion for her to do so! My question is, did the jury, in fact, mark the verdict slip and say they acquitted on charges 1 and 3 and that’s why the judge refused to let the defense actually SEE, or discuss the verdict slip, which is UNREAL in my opinion, or did the jury not check any boxes as to how they decided, which still means the judge should have clarified! I know the judge typically talks to the jury after the trial is over, but with how I feel about this judge’s shadiness, I wonder if she inferred to the jury that they should keep quiet and not talk to the media about the deliberations and also, if she said something to them to make them not come out about possibly acquitting on counts 1 and 3, hoping that she could make things look like they were hung on everything! All along, when the jury hadn’t talked to the media, I was wondering if the judge had kind of softly nudged them to not speak to anyone because of some shadiness! I absolutely don’t trust this judge at all and have always thought her to be biased and possibly working with Morrissey, MSP, Canton Police and the Commonwealth, in order to convict Karen Read and protect the Alberts\McCabes! 😤

@@jfk32975 The attorneys signed sworn affidavits to keep the names of the jurors anonymous & out of the filing, which is public information. No other choice.
The jurors live in that area and they don’t want to be a target of retaliation by the police. That’s why they sealed the jurors names in the first place and why you haven’t seen any rush to public interviews.
She said hear say who are these jurors. Jurors who voted guilty don't want to be known because all u people would be harassing them saying they were part of the cover up.

If Yannetti and Jackson didn’t push for a hung jury and allowed the jurors to deliberate more….this would have never happened. IMO, the Defense blew it!
I can’t believe, especially since the document from Jackson and Yannetti talked about how the jurors have a group chat where they all can converse with one another, ALL the jurors didn’t agree to contact the defense together and say they would come together and speak with the judge about these charges they acquitted her on! The seriousness of this issue and “Double Jeopardy” should warrant they do that, at the very least and the fact that it doesn’t seem like they are taking it to that level, is bothersome! I haven’t been impressed with this jury AT ALL! The amount of reasonable doubt in this case is overwhelming and the fact that they don’t seem to understand that, say a lot about this jury! Then, add to that, all the jurors aren’t getting together and coming in to talk about this, but instead we have this, friend of a friend piecemeal BS, again doesn’t impress me in the slightest! I feel like screaming…..you’re F’ING 🤬 with someone’s life and I bet if it was your life(meaning the juror’s life) you’d be upset if people weren’t more concerned and coming forward faster! I just don’t get it! The judge talked to the jurors in private after mistrial was declared. It’s on record if they were unanimous on any charges. This is just more bull from the defense.
