And to add to it, destroyed cell phones, all of Higgins actions, Google searching "how long does it take to die in freezing cold, & then the 3 expert forensic Dr's saying the arm scratches were dog bites & no bruising on the body indicating he was hit by a car tailight & sent 30 feet in the air. Not to forget the officer that was present at Karens house meeting the flatbed said he only saw it cracked which would explain that its nice & red in the ring video. I could go on...like the flipped video of her vehicle in the Police garage so Proctor isnt seen by the tailight. Karens a "outsider" to their circle & what they thought was a easy way to not get caught. Plus the Ford Edge seen parked by the flag poli. All evidence points to those in the house.
Karen read reversing at 24 miles and hr and hitting john with her suv sending him flying 30 ft with NO INJURIES matching a car accident, and the only damage done was a broken tailight which supposedly cut up johns arm resembling dog bites but leaving no blood or flesh on the tailight is the real conspiracy.
The injuries of the victim are not consistent with having been hit by a vehicle. They instead indicate punching on the head and face. The accusstions against the woman are ridiculous!
Anna you may have missed the part on the trial where it was communicated that punching was not the cause of death. More importantly his eyes were not black eyes from two punches in both eyes. His eyes showed swelling due to internal bleeding and inflammation.

Those marks are not from dog bites given that’s almost impossible for a dog to attack your entire arm like a chew toy and not have any damage on the back meaning the dog didn’t have a lower mandible and didn’t bite down at any point. Even if you want to disregard the no animal DNA data. It truly is irrelevant since the dog bite didn’t cause his death. All this dog bite, Albert, Colin, basement, the other lady. All the experts say her car didn't hit John. FBI said her car didn't hit John. I've been through something very similar. When you're hurt, angry and grieving you want to blame someone. I think Paul is still grieving so hard he can't see the truth. God Bless their family.

Normally, I'd agree. But this isn't the person to ask hard questions of. His brother is dead (along with his sister and brother-in-law), his family is in shambles. This is a good point. One thing that never made sense to me- if she hit him with her car, where are the bruises, road rash?? I’ve seen car accident victims and they have broken bones, so much bruising, road rash, gravel or rocks in their cuts sometimes. It just doesn’t make sense.

An ATF agent DESTROYED his cell phone and dumped the remains in two different locations a day before he was to submit that phone for evidence. Others deleted text messages and contacts. The only person that left her cellphone in tact was Karen. This guy is being willfully ignorant. It’s hard to feel any sense of compassion for him.
I think the family is just looking for someone to be held accountable. They were probably convinced it was Karen by the Alberts and the police. Due to the shoddy investigation and apparent cover up, which this trial for me exposed... even if they realised Karen might be innocent, they also probably realised that unless she is convicted, then they will never be able to prove anyone else is guilty, and never get closure over what happened. For them as a family, i guess their need for closure, is more important than whether Karen really did it or not. I can understand that, but at the same time.... sending an innocent person to prison, is not the answer.
Paul openly admits to overlooking the scientific evidence. He claims Karen killed his brother because, after experiencing trauma and losing her partner, she struggled to find words for the children and chose to be with her family. He admits he didn’t review the evidence or testimony, yet bases his belief on her reaction to the traumatic event and her decision not to speak to the niece and nephew and to seek the comfort of her family during the blizzard.
My dad was a cop. My uncle was a cop. All the buddies that came over for weekend BBQs were cops. I decided I wanted to be a lawyer. From every perspective, the investigation was beyond flawed. I really hate having to tell people that the police lie. A lot. So many families put all their faith in the police and if the police say they’ve got the perp, the family is all in. It makes me livid! Victims deserve justice and just handing them *anyone* is not the answer!
It is completely understandable for the family to be biased toward the suspect that the Prosecutor "delivers" to them as the person responsible. I believe that I would have tunnel vision myself, discounting obvious flaws in the case just for my sibling's death to be avenged. I would imagine that it would take quite some time and exposure to others' assessment of the case to consider that the police had gotten it wrong...and perhaps worse.

@@mick8888V Oh believe me, I am not at all surprised by that reaction. I just find it incredibly sad. I grew up being told the police are the good guys and only want to help people. I was told they put in their top effort to investigate crimes so that the court can give the family justice. It was a rude wake-up call when I learned that wasn’t always the reality. It’s always heartbreaking (and angering) to me when I see the police fail because it ends up being devastating for the victims.

Smart move get far away from them. I saw the footprints at her tail light made after she left 530 am, between 530 and 7am. Her tail light was NOT missing as they showed in photos later at 5 am. YET 823 am the cop dash cam shows missing. SO yea, when she got back to Johns she saw that tail light totally missing, and she knew. SHE KNEW IN THAT MOMENT what they were up to. He has his nerve to accuse her because she said her goodbyes.

Brian Tully played football with Paul O'Keefe. These people have all known each other for years. Karen Read never stood a chance.

Exactly, 20 years ago I tried riding my son's dirt bike going 10 miles an hour on my front yard in the grass fell off of it broke my right humerus and severed my rotator and this situation they're claiming she went 24 miles an hour in reverse and there wasn't a mark on John O'Keefe's body from the neck down no broken bones either. It is just downright ridiculous those marks on his arm definitely look like dog bites and scratches not from a tail light and I could have sworn tail light was intact according to the officer that saw the vehicle and all of a sudden Proctor gets a hold of it and it's in 26 pieces. He judged Karen on day 1, at a time where she thought she may have accidentally hit him. She thought that bc he was found near where she dropped him off & Jen McCabe told her he never went into the house. They wanted Karen to believe she hit him & it worked. Too bad Paul’s curiosity ended there. His bias was already in place and it was then confirmed by the murderers & conspirators. Remember, they were telling Karen that they saw her, there’s ring video, his injuries match a pedestrian SUV strike. Of course she thought she may have hurt him. Paul may have come to a conclusion on day 1, but he should have considered the new evidence regardless if it’s coming from Alan Jackson or Turtleboy. If it’s TRUE, it doesn’t matter. How about Karen referring to John as “that body” to a reporter outside court after the defense reconstruction testimony & grinning while she said it. No words of sympathy or sorrow expressed by Karen for John’s tragic death, while her lawyers are the ones repeatedly jumping in to remind us that she loved him, when she speaks to the press outside court.
I assumed Karen was guilty before the trial started. But after watching the entire trial, it's obvious that John wasn't hit by a car and that Karen's car didn't hit a person. @@francesca6301The first amendment actually doesn't cover defamation. He's stating his opinion that she did it as if it's fact, without a conviction in place. That actually is illegal, and if she doesn't end up getting convicted she can sue him for defamation. So yeah... it really was dumb of him to say all of this, especially after they already failed to get one conviction.
Were we watching the same video? He outlined her behavior the night it happened, said the relationship was on the rocks. He said they put the pieces together based on their relationship history and Karen's behavior.

68 witnesses and not one puts O’Keefe in the Albert home, and not one shows any evidence of a cover-up …. So of course it’s a conspiracy theory…. When there is ZERO evidence of anyone but Karen Read, offing John O’Keefe, then yes that is the very definition of a conspiracy theory.

The fact the FBI got involved in this should be a clue that the investigation was flawed. The fact that independent crash reconstruction said he wasn’t hit by a car should be another red flag. Does he actually believe the injuries his brother had were caused by a car? I would be outraged by proctor and his actions but instead this man feels sorry for him. I think Paul's side of the story is the only one he will look at and it's very sad that he could not see what a massive mess that the Police Dept did as well as John's "so called friends." The rage bullets that he sent her way during the entire trial were bad enough, but the rage he sent will only come back to harm himself. What a massive surprise Paul will have when the entire truth comes to light! What will he do then? A very sad man indeed, I feel for him, yet I don't respect his horrific behavior toward Karen. He wants Karen to be guilty so badly, he's willing to completely ignore all the evidence (yes, Paul. Evidence) that she couldn't have done it and just ends up looking angry, bitter and unreasonable.
He wants her to be guilty because otherwise he will never have an answer. They didn’t even look for someone else. If Karen doesn’t get convicted they will never “find out”. The investigation was just so f-ed up. No way to find out now. So convict the one you can blame.
By your logic, some members of the jury also willingly ignored all the evidence that she couldn’t have done it? Or maybe you’ve simply chosen to completely ignore evidence that Karen is the only one who can reasonably be responsible for causing the death of John O’Keefe. What evidence was presented that proved John went in the house? How come taillight fragments from Karen’s car found by SERT in the snow before Proctor even had time to get to the scene after the car was put in the Sallyport? He may sound bitter & angry but it’s completely reasonable given the circumstances of John’s death & totality of the evidence presented imo.

Absolutely no evidence of an MVA (ex ortho nurse here), and no evidence of injuries to a person involved in an MVA. No injuries from the head down, soft grass and a sprinkling of snow does not split a head (basement floors with weights do), fists do, and cars do not have teeth, claws and fists.

The only way she could hit him with the vehicle would be when he's crawling true the snow on hand and knees when she turned to drive away. That not what happened. And these wounds, how would she do that to a big guy? It's obvious to me that she did not do that. Not very likely she did that in front of a whole audience and left him there. She dropped him, was angry at him gaslighting her. It was toxic. His friends where toxic to and that's what caused him his live. Something happened overthere. I feel sorry for Karen she's to one who get this on her plate. This outcome tells me there is still justice in America.
He died from a blow to the head, not being hit by a car. The family thinks she did it because they hate her. They need to look at the evidence and dishonesty of the investigator and Albert family.
