Most HOAs in the United States operate illegally. Grass height cannot be regulated by an HOA because humps and dips in the ground make it an unconstitutionally vague standard. (Federal law) The association cannot tell you what color to paint your door or what color your blinds or curtains must be. (Federal law) Without a color chip standard or a color meter reading within a standard range, no HOA can tell you what color to paint ANYTHING. (Federal law) There are other federal and state standards that most HOAs aren’t aware of and don’t operate within. For example, in my state you must take a class and be certified to be on the homeowners association board. If everyone isn’t certified, the HOA can’t issue fines per state law. I took the class, got certified, got on my homeowners association board and discovered that I was the only one certified. The association still issued fines anyway. I eventually got the HOA dissolved for unconstitutional things in the declaration. If an HOA has unconstitutional things in the declaration, it can be dissolved without a trial, just by bringing it to the attention of a court. It’s called dissolution on motion. If the association tries to amend the declaration to remove unconstitutional things, that makes a whole new HOA that no one can be made to join. They must be specifically told that it is a new HOA and that they don’t have to join. (Federal law)

I've heard the first one before, from the attorney's perspective! He watched the hubby from on high, from his own office across the street or plaza, idk. Don't feel bad for the husband. He really was a wife-beater, threatening, lying, and intimidating to get his way. He thought it would work in court, too, so he didn't bother getting a lawyer until it was too late.

10:00 This Qaren's sister is flying from LAX, USA to Melbourne, Aus. Halfway, she leaves her seat in cattle class and takes a vacant seat in first class. Refuses to go back. The captain says, let me try. He whispers something in Qaren's ear. She looks startled and jumps out of her seat like a toad and scurries back to cattle class. Everyone is amazed and asking the captain, WTF. He smiles and says he told the Qaren the cattle class is going to Melbourne but first class is headed for Sydney!

No. They probably made up some king of response that allowed them to sweep the whole thing under the rug. I worked for three years as a court clerk. We had a couple of things like that happen where the line clerk did it right and the bosses screwed up. The property room would always document carefully so they couldn’t be blamed. The bosses would always spread the blame around and no one would get fired. The line people were always more competent than the bosses. They never got promoted and eventually would leave. That’s what I did. The bosses were always recruited from outside the system and none were ever even remotely competent.

concerning the Lawyer OP with the YOU MUST follow OUR HOA BYLAWS and NOT NYONE ELSE'S rules PERIOD. When OP went to the County Clerk's office asking about the past owners who sold their house in such and such neighborhood and the Clerk told him there Was NEVER an HOA in his neighborhood, He SHOULD HAVE USED HIS LAWYER SKILLS AND MENTION TO THE CLERK about a Certain lady living there making mentions and HIGHEST POWERS of Her "PROCLAIMED" Highest level HOA and all people had to sign up into their HOA BYLAWS and RULES for living in the neighbor hood, this way the clerk can esalate HOA "OVER REACHING" their lilegall limits for the facts that she was of the recollection that from the address of this specific legal address, There NEVER EVER HAS BEEN AN HOA, And tell OP that Such a claim from anyone would need to speak with which Legal Office Superior Official who was in charge when the lady had brought in the application with the names and dates the legal set-up LEGAL approved or denied Paperworks that approved the creation for the Official REGISTRATION forms (and MAKE SURE NOT TO FORGET TO SIGN AND DATE THE LEGAL REGISTRATION FORM, since to be a LEGAL HOA, All people for legal reasons ALL BOARD Members must Sign the form STATING in writing, that ALL members sign the form confirming they have read and agree to FOLLOW ALL STATE and FEDERAL LAWS AND PROMISE TO FOLLOW ALL LAWS, POLICIES AND STATUTES that they FULLY agree to NEVER create their own laws as such, As THIS FORM IS THE LEGAL PROMISE THAT ALL HOA's are to abde with iBoth, STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS WHICH ARE TO BE FOLLOWED TO THE LETTER OF THE LAW, AND TAKES PRECEDENTS Over ANYTHING ELSE EVER,INCLUDING HOA bylaws,
