A collection of my camera work as a Layout and Previs Artist.
1. Senior Camera Artist on the cinematic team for Insomniac/PlayStation's Spider-Man 2. Crafting sequences in Maya using mocap and audio data.
2. Layout Supervisor on Sonic Prime seasons 1-3. A fast-paced action show with dynamic camera movement and contrasting elements.
3. Animated shot using a free character I made for Blender users. Assembling choreography, action, staging, and framing.
4. Game cinematics for PUBG Battlegrounds. Sole Layout Artist for the project.
5. Game cinematics for Kabam's Marvel Groot game. Sole Layout Artist for the project.
6. Senior Camera Artist on the cinematic team for Insomniac/PlayStation's Spider-Man 2. Crafting sequences in Maya using mocap and audio data.
7. Layout Supervisor on Super Dinosaur. A kids' action show packed with adventure.
8. Helpful Hand is a short film made for The Radcliffe Foundation refugee crisis awareness competition. My film won first place out of 123 submissions and was shown at the opening of VIFF 2016. I received $20,000 for first place.
9. Personal shot for my RU-vid Channel.
10. Personal shot for my RU-vid Channel.

This is incredible!! I was watching your animation basics in blender videos and I could tell from how you spoke and broke down you're process that you have animated before, BUT I had NO IDEA that you worked on some scenes in the Spider-Man 2 game! Those scenes were some of my favorites in the game! It's amazing to finally know who animated them because I was inspired by them when I watched them for the first time. I've always wanted to animate at that level! Thanks for posting your reel. I look forward to seeing more of your educational content!!

Thank you for such a wonderful comment! I think you and so many others can animate at a high level. It takes a bit of time and some good amount of practice. These bigger projects really do need some many people. So it's nice to contribute in the way that I do. I'll be back to making more videos in a bit :)

Wow your a really good animator to think you took part in Sonic Prime is so cool as an aspiring animator I'd love to see more tutorials from you specifically involving the cameras and multiple shots as i see most of the recent tuts you've made only focus on 1 shot rather than having multiple static shots or at least a moving shots much appreciated

Thank you, I appreciate your note! Great point! Yes I'll make some videos more about cameras and cinematography. That is a different department. The lighting is real time in Unreal Engine.

Thank you! I would come up with a cool combination. Think about the style your going for (realism, fantasy, cartoony) and really lean into it. If it's realistic, look at some reference. If it's more animated really exaggerate your action and make it entertaining. Whatever you do go with make the viewer excited to watch it. If you do that, then your action was a success. Hope that helped!

@@alexonstory Yes, I'm following you from Hungary and I'm trying to learn the basics of the animation workflow from you. :) I want to make a series of short stories for adults on RU-vid, that's how I found you. I would be happy to hear your comments, because I am completely self-taught to learn Blender. It would be a huge miracle if you could even speak Hungarian! :)

That's very cool! You got this, you can do it! I would say make your first very rough episode. Your going to learn a lot. On your second go you'll now have experience as to what worked and didn't work. Plus you'll be in a better position to make your visuals more clear and pleasing. I do speak Romanian, but no I can't speak Hungarian :D
