SI3D has been specifically designed for people with amblyopia and/or strabismus.
SI3D's OcuView lens is designed for these exercises and general Vision Therapy. OcuView is much more effective at promoting 3D vision than full oclussion. If you do not have OcuView, use your hand or patch to cover your dominant eye.
Sit directly in front of the laptop or PC monitor (bigger screen is best for training).
Ensure you sit comfortably. Sit about an arms length away with your head central to the screen or monitor. Do NOT move your head unless instructed to do so - EYES ONLY.
If you suffer with amblyopia in both eyes do exercises for left and right eye equally.
DO NOT STARE FOR PROLONGED PERIODS AS THIS WILL STRAIN YOUR EYES! Blink often, blink often, blink often! Blinking does 3 important things:- 1/ It lubricates the eyes 2/ it minimizes strain and 3/ forces your eyes to refocus on the target.
You must exercise between 30-60 minutes daily (15-30 morning/ 15-30 evening). It is best to train as soon as you can after waking, and just before you go to bed. If you train more, ensure you rest your eyes every 30 minutes for at least 15 minutes.
Exercising daily must become habit. Your eyes and brain will only 'learn' if they are continually stimulated with exercise. You will get out what you put in.
You must be under the guidance and supervision of a registered VT (Vision Therapist) before carrying out any training or oclussion.
I am not a professional. I am simply someone who suffers with Amblyopia and Strabismus, and I developed these tools and exercises to help people like me.

Hey , first of all i thankyou soo much for uploading these. I want to ask that i cover my dominant eye ( right one ) & exercise with the weak eye ( left one ) why do i have so much ache in the right side of brain while Exercising ?Is it because i cover it or something else ? Please reply

Hi, thank you for your appreciation. The ache could be strain. This happens a lot during the early stages due to people trying to go too fast or do too much. Another reason may be that the eyes are predominantly (but not exclusively) controlled by opposit sides of the brain. So the left eye is predominantly controlled by the right side and vise verse. Hope this helps

Thank you very much for very good exercises. :) I spotted them a few days ago. I have also problem, with my left eye. Have at amblyopia and strabismus. Can you suggest me, what kind of 3D glasses you use or would suggest them? Is this very important?

Thank you Jernej Puc! I use SI3D's OcuView lenses for exercising and general vision therapy. I created it after many months of experimenting with different forms of occlusion. I found that full occlusion did not help in promoting 3D binocular vision, and other options available did not provide an adequate base for attaining 3D stereoscopic vision. I wanted a product that was affordable, easy to use and practical - but most importantly, it needed to force both eyes to work together. The OcuView occludes in the 'sweet spot' or the fovea, where we see the clearest part of our FOV (field of view), but still allows all other light in the peripheral vision, thus keeping in tact the full image for fusion to develop. Hopefully the OcuView will be available on the website and ebay in the new year, all being well. Hope this helps, Jernej. Any more questions? Please do not hesitate to ask.

@@seein3d456 Thank you too once again also for this very good answer and explanations. You are on the good way and I see you know what you are doing. I have a thousand questions about that. So I will definitely continue to monitor and use your videos in the feature. Right now I working every day on this exercises and also on exercises for convergence with a pen. I will asking you, these exercises may have been suggested by your doctor or are just your idea? How many time in the day you use OcuView lens in your dominant eye? You training just with this exercises or you have some one else with which you train? How much these exercises really help you? I am so sorry for so many questions, but I would like to know as much as possible how to help myself. I hope you are not so angry on that :) Very big thanks!

Thank you for your kind words, Jernej. These are all my idea after months of research and trial and error. My VT gave me some exercises that are similar to some of those featured but not a comprehensive list. The reason I created them was because there is very little variety out there for people to exercise. Alot of the videos on YT are basic and bland, and in my opiniion, they do not encourage compliance. They also do not address convergence insufficiencies, depth perception or promote 3D stereoscopic vision either, in my opinion. I use my OcuView everyday. The best thing about this training aid is that I can attach it to my glasses (or a pair of costume/fake glasses when wearing contact lenses), flip it up if I am pouring hot water into a cup (for example - as I need to be certain at times like that), and flip it down when I am just going around the house, watching TV etc. This was my reason for creating it - simplicity and ease of use, as well as maximum light entering the dominant eye. These (and other exercises that I will be releasing in the new year) help alot. When I first started VT, I had not really used my strabismic eye throughout my life (now aged 46). It was as lazy as an eye can be. But over time, I have gained so much vision that wasn't there previously, and has helped significantly in gaining strength for alignment. Please don't apologise for asking questions - this is why I am here. Hope I have answered everything to your satisfaction. please fell free to ask any other questions you may have, now or in the future. Kind regards

You are a very good person. All good will be repaid to you! Thank you very much for your time and all very good answers again. Right now I just have one more question actually about OcuView. On the google I only find some sort of eye pills under that name. I'm looking for because I don't understand exactly what this look like. Maybe you have some link or picture where I can see? Many thanks! Kind regards

Thank you again, Jernej. You will not find anything on google just yet as I created the OcuView myself, but it is not available until the beginning of 2021, assuming all the parts in the supply chain are operating as normal. I did not expect the channel to grow as fast as it has, nor did I expect any patreon supporters or enquiries into the OcuView until mid 2021. As some people (including you) have enquired, I am in the process of creating the instructional video for the OcuView, and should be uploaded early January, ahead of schedule. If you turn notifications on for the channel, you will be the first to hear about it when it becomes available. Kindest regards

Thank you for this. I've just started, but seem to be experiencing some headaches after using this. (I cover my dominant eye and keep my glasses on.)Do you think this means I need to shorten the time and start small? Thank you again!

Thank you for your question, Bimba Lola. I used to suffer with headaches when I first began exercising. I was too eager to get results, and didn't realise that I could strain my eyes and brain by doing too much. The headaches you are experiencing are a result of your eye and brain working hard due to the stress you are subjecting it to. This will reduce over time as long as you exercise regularly. But you are correct in knowing that you should reduce the time and start small. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask and I will do my best to answer.
