This song brings a tear to my eye but gives me peace. Divorce and death have taken all love from me but the Grateful Dead give me a peaceful, calm joy that will carry me like a breeze in my sails to the next port.

And who says 90' Dead was dead? They kept it real to the very end. I especially love Vince's high pitch background vocals and his harmonies within the band as a whole. The 90's may have been rocky but when they clicked look out. Smoking craters everywhere. Beautiful, classic Grateful Dead.

This is one of my very topmost favorite GD songs of all time; I was really looking forward to hearing an album version of it. "Call for me, & I will be there / For the price of a taxi ride." 27 yrs on, and I STILL haven't gotten over it... Thank you so much for sharing this here.

Love this song. Was never a huge Dead guy, until I caught them at the Palace in Michigan in '95. This song and "Foolish Heart" really stuck with me, as well as the amazing vibe at the show. Needless to say, a big fan, now.

i will admit the newer songs i struggled with, especially with wave to the wind (which went on to become a favorite) but then later was quite taken by them.

Silly comment about Bobby 'trashing' this song with his slide. Had Jerry (you know, the guy who wrote it?) felt it didn't belong, he would have told him to play it differently. Bobby's slide actually fits very well in this song. Too bad ya don't get it, rook.

Forgot about this clunker. Well, its ok. I was happier to have to be in bathroom for Samba or Liberty than this one. Nice imagery but tune never goes anywhere.

Man bobby really trashed this Ive had this show first cassette then cd great later show. Again just wish bobby didnt fah kit up so much it would be one of the best if not for his clumsy slide mashing esp in the first half of song during verse rhythm while jerry sings.

Either Weir purposefully sabotaged this beauty or he has no right playing slide.
