Sometimes, just a rare reflection upon the majestic beauty of LittleBigPlanet, and more over this song, I will reach a state of angelic nostalgia, in which reflections of the past mirror themselves crystal clear; I remember it all, the exciting discovery, the late nights of creation, and the overwhelming wonderment of play create share. Though the moment I think back the illusionary mirror is shattered and only a sad yearning for 6 years ago remains. But these memories will stay with us forever and I hope they will inspire all of us to create, play and share.
I know what you feel man, this game and this soundtrack has so much special memories for me it doesn't even feel real. I would also search up "LBP2 my rocket theme" on youtube that and this song gives me a lot of nostalgia of the early days of lbp2
I’m so happy I got to experience this game with everyone. We had a community. No, we still are a community. We share the memories of one of the greatest franchises to exist. Stay creative. Never forget this game and the memories it holds
She lives on through these memories, and your love. I hope you’re healing and I hope you can find peace through the grief to enjoy the art you once shared together. Your energies will meet again in this strange little big universe
I couldn't finish this level because there was this weird water all over my face and it was hard to see. I think there is a glitch in the game or something.
It just depresses me that I couldn't experience the same thing I did with LBP2 and LBP1 with 3... They just tried to go too complicated when the simplicity of sackboy running and jumping his (or her) way through levels was enough.
I disagree, I find that more complexity is great for a game all about creativity and sharing your creations. Take LBP1 vs LBP2. The levels in the first game were so much simpler, and quite repetitive. Now, with LBP2, you had the Powerups, Sackbots, Controlinators, and a whole heap of logic circuits that weren't in the original game. This complexity allowed for people to create amazing levels that far surpassed anything you could make in LBP1. LBP3 used a similar approach, with the largest changes being so many more layers, the 3 new characters, and some more powerups. I agree that LBP3 was rushed, didn't have the same charm, and all the typical complaints, but those don't subtract from the fact that level creation in LBP3 was so much more versatile.
@tutacat thats an obvious lie. A video game this big with an almost at the time decade old engine ported to newer hardware couldnt have taken 6 months where did you hear this?
The nostalgia this song gives me is crazy. I remember that way back when, I used to play every weekend with a few friends of mine. We made endless things and had so much fun, but one day when I moved I lost the ps3. It all vanished; my friends, everything. It was all gone, over. I managed to find it some years later, but it was too late. Seeing the emptiness of lbp2 filled me with an emptiness of my own for a short while. This song breathes colors and life into what once was a fallen kingdom of sorts.
Bro that comment was beautiful 😢❤. I managed to get my PS3 working again ,but seeing this lifelessness of the whole thing is even sadder than not being able to play it at all. Isn’t that strange? I’m currently saving for a PS5, and hopefully these beautiful games will be preserved in our memories, or possibly remaster for further PlayStations?
This brings back so many memories. I feel so old, now. The nolstagia this gives me is incredible-I can almost feel the excitement of waking up on a Saturday morning to play my favorite game, LBP. For seven years I did that. This was always my favorite song from LBP2. Even if I didn't use it in my levels for when they were published, I always listened to it while making them.
i gave little big planet all of my childhood. i’ll never forget this amazing game even if it was full of toxicity & bugs at times. thank you for all the memories lbp.
I've had this weird experience for as long as I can remember of smelling this certain lemon hand soap from bath and Bodyworks, I think it's called kitchen lemon, and having this nostalgia come up from playing Little big planet. It happens every single time I smell that hand soap. This game is magic.
Like about everyone here, I have listened to music for all my life. Hundreds of tracks, happy, sad, stressful, nostalgic. But never once has a song made me cry... This was an exception.
This song is the embodiment of creativity and hope even if it is out dated this was the reason why I still play lbp1 and 2 I loved how in every game they put thought in it and work tirelessly to make them perfect to the point anyone or thing that’s playing will love it and make the most
When I first heard this song, not even 4 hours before I posted this message, I was totally blown away. LBP had a great soundtrack, and hearing something like this in the second game, I just KNEW that they were reaching out to crank the dial so far up to 11 that they were looking to bust it.
it seemed like it was just yesterday, my parents were still together, I was in elementary, with my imagination to guide me. laughing with my brother who once cared , enjoying life . now I'm in highschool focusing on my future with drawing and animation still with this song to help my imagination still guide me . it's not the same as it once was . divorced parents, stepmom and stepdad , step siblings . less caring brother , but I still know that I shouldn't see the dark in life . I can still make the best of this . this song reminds me of what I had ...... not had . but still have . my happiness and imagination to keep me up and not let me down to guide me into bigger and better things *thank you LBP for making my childhood special*
I got some LBP vibes as sackboy a big adventure came out. This song was one of my favorites, it brings back so much memories. I wish I could play LBP again just like the good old times.
LBP2. InFamous 2. Both are sequels that came out the same year. Both are great in their own ways. LBP2 offered great and rich creativity tools which offered players endless fun until server shutdown. InFamous 2 offered fun action-packed gameplay with an engaging story and it had an UGC mode where you could create custom missions.
This song is so great. Gives me chills. I put this in one of my levels that I spent forever to make.. It was called "rusty old factory" the memories :*)
Little big planet 2 days staying up all night when gaming was free to play online and endless of friends you made on the ps3 especially we were young in are prime, the world was simpler 💯
why did media molecule have to drop LBP so soon? LBP3 is better than nothing, but everything in it just seems off somehow. here's hoping MM will pick it back up for LBP4. some good times with the first two games.
+Sitting on Ceilings Did you not play the fucking game? It was a massive step forward than LBP2. I'm STILL finding new things I could use while creating.
Imagine how much nostalgia every lbp fan would get if they made a remasted version, but with more costumes, bonus levels, and more dlc with levels include
Where’d the time go. I love this game so fucking much. At age 10 I’d wake up early just to play this game for hours on end and now I’m 18. I spent so much money which I don’t regret at all :’) the memories I made with the players I met online will be carried with me forever. May Little Big Planet live on in our hearts for the rest of our lives♥️
@@mr.anarchy4543 I've never played LBP at all but I know how all of you got impacted by the game dying but hey! You've got Sackboy: A Big Adventure! Thats LBP5 for me! Even though its not LBP at all. I know you'd object to that too but thats just my opinion. I'm sad because I had to see all of you become sad from LBP dying.
This track reminds me of that one level where you had to mine gold and protect a base, please tell me someone else remembers this I would love to go back to it.
I love this song. I use this song for motivation. Like hiking and workout. If i dont feel like doing anything this song will remind me " what are you waiting for". Amazing
This song gives me the tingles, cause it reminds me as if I was playing a game in which you're nearing the very end, but there was just a tragic experience... Like as if you had a friend to help you the whole time, but now they're gone and you're on your own, but you have to do this for some great, big good reason that it would play... I guess inspiring music. Oh god the tingles. @ , @
I remember when I played these games with my brother, in lbp 1 our guys (our sack people ) were just kids on an adventure making friends along the way , and in lbp they were slightly grown up and back on another adventure with nothing specific in store for them , their battle to save their world from the negativatron and save everyone was truly amazing. I remember beating the game and just listening to this song saying " *we had a good run* "
I played this game like 10 years.. i made lots of friends lots of memories....but none of the friends i had is with me now.. this ost made me remember all of that and idk how to feel about it
Man, this game is a masterpiece, has a good story and message, memorable characters, perfect music, music that stays with you your whole life, and a great community, so great, that many ended up making life-long friends on it, may this game be remembered as a classic of the ps3 and remastered on the ps4/5
i just get emotional hthat i lost all my friends on my old account on ps3 and i also lost my mic so i could only talk to people in text chat and this makes me really emotional but i still have a ps3 and a new account that i made a couple of days ago and this just gives me tears of joy that i didnt sell my ps3 when i got my ps4.and i also lost lbp3 on ps4 and we moved just recently and i lost it at my old house so its gone forever but im glad i still have the originals lbp1 and 2.
I listen to songs from lbp2 like Ghosts and Sleepyhead all the time still even now that I'm in college, fun happey childhood memories yay also they're bops, but this one I always try to avoid like the plague bc... nostalgia.... i sad
i still remeber, with my old buds, clearin the history of lbp2 to 100% with a 4 man squad judt to be greeted with this music at the end. damn where are those onion cutting ninja`s
