They do this to save money and time as replacing glass backs are difficult This is also used to salvage non-damaged digitizer and screen. Instead of replacing front glass cover and screen, they just need a new cover
glass backs why not get a heat gun and wait for it to heat up and then pry it off of course theres cause of damage but its not as time consuming as this if you do it right
It's China. They run entire assembly lines for producing more apple products. Only in the states does apple have the ability to infringe on the right to repair
I'm gonna try dry ice in a foam cooler instead. I don't have a cryogenic machine like this. It's -109.3 degrees Fahrenheit (-78.5 degrees C). Maybe that will do it. Oh, wait....the display on the machine says -180C. That's getting pretty cold.
lcd work only the glass attached to it breaks and we think the lcd panel gone..all shopkeeper tell u that panel need to be relace and it costs almost 30 percent of the cost of phone while they just relace the glass wch only cost 2 to 3 dollar
@@noone251 as a phone repair guy i can confirme that most repair shops charge for a new display where all they do is just changing the protector glass wich cost for the most 10d and need less than 45 min of work
no one yes, but in fact when you look at the cost of this device the price didn't justify doing glass only this way. The price of repair to the customer would go down by only $10 or so because you would still have to pay off the machine cost, marketing, franchise fees, store rental, employee hourly labor rates, etc. also keep in mind these machines require you too remove EVERYTHING else from the frame to replace the glass, which means repair can't be reasonably done while the customer waits it would take longer than 30-45 mins.
@@GoodHydration what we are saying is that some repair shops charge for a hole screen while all they do is replacing the glass which is a sort of ripoff its not about the cost here its about credibility

for 2sides curved lcds, it did cheaper to use heating machine to separate glass and frame, but for 4sided curved lcds, if we use heating plate and card to separate, most time will damage touch function, that is more risky
Backlight in iPhone 5,6,7 in my case , they simply go to damage, after 5 sek in freezer like this I saw like the backlight module separates itself. Sorry for my poor english. I don`t recomend this freezers.
