This military look, overall playstyle of relying on micro-mechanics and growth power to crush weaker teams, and that the players in HLE are actually buff (At least in asian gamers standard) kinda created an official meme of being tanks.
btw, Hanwha, the parent company of Hanwha Life Insurance, is a military business company. so, one of HLE's nicknames is Hanwha the demolition tank (in korean)
Hanwha is acronym for Han (Korean) Wha (Explosives). They still have a pretty good military heavy gear and vehicle business, but that's just one of many industries they own.
@@ktelite Hanhwa Life Insurance is indeed an insurance company, which is a subsidiary of Hanhwa. Hanhwa itself is a conglomerate group but the Chairman has split up the group into three equal pies for his three sons.
My favorite part of this year's Spring season opening was Zeus and Peyz representing the LCK logo's wings, being built up as the LCK's golden rookies who will hopefully become the future pillars of the league. My favorite part of this year's Summer season opening is the Lucid and Perfect transitions, bringing their rivalry from the LCK CL to the LCK. I just really love it when leagues build up their rookies.
HLE with the tanks? Kt and Dk rivalry? Faker on a pedestal with his achievements? Chovy dripped the fuck out with his rings? Literal Church of Chovy at the end? CINEMA
@@blackreaper5263 not exactly sure but both are contenders for rookie of the year. Peyz was featured in the trailers last year so yeah seems to be the most logical conclusion to make lol
0:02 Kiin's long awaited emblem of victory, commemorating his first LCK finals Win. 0:15 Peanut and Zeka, Once Finalists and World Champion who are hungry for more (Tank symbolizing their firepower but also Hanwha's sponsorship) 0:25 Fear X and DRX being shown underground and on the staircase, representing their team as the underdog and their desire to climb higher. 0:40 KDF plotting with their newly recruited veteran Cuzz for another run. 0:55 Scene shows teams now above ground, drawing Dplus Kia an KT as those who have a shot at challenging those who sit at the top. 1:08 Faker on pedestal with his legacy engraved, standing like a sculpture. His legend and reputation coming second to none. 1:19 T1 coming together as a formidable team who has already proved themselves, but standing as the challenger to the LCK throne this Summer. 1:26 Even the waters and building blocks hold the golden hue, displaying GENG as the one who holds the throne. 1:31 Chovy. Prodigy. He has come a long way since Griffins, but now no one can argue its the beginning of his era. Church is in Session. 1:36 LCK Ring for Final Winners Sponsored by Golden Dew. 1:55 Clean production as always.
I always picture their rivalry as being more like the Hero vs the Demon King in the "Demon King Academy" anime where they should actually be enemies but in truth they respect each other and even work together lol
The song used in the teaser is: "Shadows" by Tides. If you liked it, please consider subscribing to their channel to support them. It is criminal how they have less than 200 subscribers when their music is so good.
my fav scenes are: 1. chovy, the chills and the ring flex damn thats crazy 2. faker in pedestal as some kind of statue, literally immortalized legend 3. lucid-perfecT, the two contender for rookie of the year so far. maybe thats the naratives
They are playing really well, even beating T1 twice in MSI. I really like how they showed the accomplishments of T1 while also acknowledging the superior gameplay from GenG recently by showing them last. I hope we get some more of the rivalry this Summer!
@@cdcidsid9228 So are we just gonna ignore T1's 10 LCK titles and the first and only perfect record of 18-0 in 2022? Have you forgotten what "Greatest of All Time" means, or is this just recency bias clouding your judgement? Or maybe, you just hate T1 fans?
Okay why tf are T1 the only one out on the streets while the rest of the teams are in the Church? The symbolism is great, but its funny that u can also think that T1 are "on the streets" and excluded. XD
I want to see Faker on worlds anthem with 4 rings, that represents his 4 worlds title. And, dude won 10 LCK trophies. where are his rings on 10 fcking fingers!??
What? Players don't get a ring for winning LCK. Also, there were no rings the first three times Faker won worlds. So why would he have rings for those?
