LCS had similar cuts last year, LEC had an extra year of investment and LCS had an extra year to adapt to the cuts. You'll see better stuff in LEC in a year hopefully

definitely not always. before 2018/9, eulcs was perceived as inferior to lcs (in terms of gameplay and interest), that's why so many eu players moved to na.

@@samwilliams0901 okay then look back to worlds last year and both NA1 beat EU1 and NA2 beat EU2. I just think the average level of play in NA is higher currently.

You have to understand that NA v EU is the highlight of the entire year for NA fans. EU literally doesn't care about West v West series. EU has its sights set on the East. That's why, despite often falling short, EU beats the East a lot more than NA, and EU actually has a presence at the business end of major tournaments. Your feelings aren't evidence. You "thinking" the level of play is higher isn't good enough unfortunately. Tournament finishes are evidence, and based on the most recent evidence, it is EU1 > NA1 > EU2 > NA2.
