The Roman Catholics also believe that Mary had Jesus as her only child when in the Bible it says that she has 6 other children and they were Simon and Jude and Jose and James and two unnamed daughters too. The Roman Catholics also worship Peter like he’s a God too and think that he has the power to hear their prayers and venerate him too. They also believe that Peter was a Pope and believe that he found the rock instead of believing that Jesus found the rock instead. The Roman Catholics believe that Peter was buried in Rome and think that their religion was found through him when in reality Peter was actually buried in Jerusalem and that their religion was found in the Roman Empire throughout the Vatican. The Roman Catholics also pray to dead saints and think that they can hear their prayers and they venerate them too and they also pray to Rosary and they also serve two masters instead of one master and when they worship Mary and Peter and Pray to Dead Saints and Rosary they are committing idolatry. The Roman Catholics also believe that you have to live a good life and take their sacraments into heaven with them when the Bible says otherwise. The Roman Catholics also don’t read their Bible nor do they do Bible study at their church but they just listen to what the Pope has to say instead. They also confessed their sins to a priest and when in the Bible it says that Jesus is the one who forgives all sins.

Humans were created to be "image bearers" of God. Not to look like him in appearance but to bear His image in our nature and actions and desires and relationships and character! The difference is that Mary is a human woman, while the Mormon view is that the the Heavenly Mother is a goddess, among many gods, which simply is not true. Revelation 12:1-2 "A great portent appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birthpangs, in the agony of giving birth." In Revelation, we see a Heavenly woman, PREGNANT, hailed as Queen, wearing a crown of twelve stars. Revelation 11:19 "Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple, and there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail." The Ark of the Old Covenant had been lost, and it carried the bearer of the Covenant, the stone tablets. Jesus is the bearer of the New Covenant, and Mary was his carrier. This alignment with the woman in Revelation 12:1-2 as well as the earlier evidence of the Mary as the Mother Queen, this is likely referring to Mary. And yes, we believe she was assumed into Heaven, and that she lived a sinless life.

If Jesus had a heavenly father (God the father) why would it be out of the question to also have a "heavenly" mother ? Hi! I go to a Bible Church. It's nondenominational and of course, Bible based. I grew up Independent Baptist and hugely admire Baptists as their teachings and doctrine are very solid and on track Biblically. Europe will definitely have the kind of church I go to. My husband was raised in Soviet Union Russia as a child and his family was Baptist as well. They came to the U.S. after the Soviet Union fell as refugees. I guess it would make sense if you believe in a pre-existence and that human beings were spirit-children of two God-parents. But that concept is not supported by Christian scripture (the Bible) at all...and there is no Heavenly Mother in the Christian belief system.

Still, He created us for His glory and wants us to become reconciled to Him and have a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus. When He speaks of being a husband, it’s His people who are married to Him. Christ is the Bridegroom, we are His Bride. On the other hand, when God’s people disobey Him and go seeking “after other gods they have not known” they are called an adulteress or a prostitute. All of this is in the Word of God. Since God is not a man one must think of Him spiritually, not of the flesh.

God is one God who demonstrates Himself through 3 persons. The Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all one God. (Just like 2 Nephi 31:21 says. 😉)

For example, Matthew 24 is about the tribulations that the disciples would have to endure after the ascension of Jesus Christ, that all these things would happen within their generation. And the Apostle Paul repeats it a few times, confirming the words of the Savior, namely in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, which is a fulfillment of Isaiah 60:2 and Amos 8:11, etc. In a sense, if you are not Catholic, then you believe that the Church Jesus Christ organized did indeed fall. We simply disagree with "when" it did fall, or "where" we can find it today. As for "no more prophets", you quoted from Joel and Acts 2, however your conclusions contradicts Ephesians 4:11-14 (among other things). Sincerely.

Jesus (if you read this verse in it's context) is replying to the Jewish leaders who are asking Him point blank if He considers Himself to be the Messiah. He is referring to Psalm 82 (which his audience would have known) in which judges were given a "commission from God" and were therefore considered to speak for God and were sometimes called "sons of God" because of their commission as judge. Jesus's point is that He was commissioned by God as evidenced by the works and miracles He had performed, but His commission is greater than the judges because He is EQUAL with God and is, in fact, the same God. He had to escape from them after that exchange because they had forced Him to come right out and say it, and they didn't want to believe it. If someone took the middle out of context, they could say that they heard me say "I stole the shoes I was wearing." Their statement would be true. I did say those words, in that order. Before grabbing a verse and assigning meaning to it, I urge you to read it in it's place in the surrounding chapter and book. I'm not sure why you're asking, since you probably don't want to know. I won't say everything I know, because most people don't try to understand Mother and talking to them about her is generally a waste of breath. Heavenly Mother is talked about in the scriptures, but she is referred to by another name. There is a divine being in the scriptures who has a particular title that is not the Father, Jesus, or the Holy Ghost. She is heavenly Mother, and she has a very particular role to play in our salvation. Very few people will receive the degree of salvation she has to offer because very few people believe in her, let alone try to obtain her blessings. An exalted being has only one wife (Brigham Young corrupted Mormonism by teaching otherwise, as well as a bunch of other crap he did). "How many wives does God have?" should not be a question people are asking (Mormons or otherwise). It will get you nowhere. Polygamist fantasies are not heavenly. Regardless, Jesus Christ is the only Saviour, and therefore the only one who can let you into heaven to begin with. You have to go through Him to be let onto the path of salvation. He is the Gatekeeper. He stands before the straight and narrow path and the few who find that path must then meet all His requirements to move further along it. This is illustrated in the Bible, as I will explain: Jesus Christ is the one who judges our hearts and who made it possible for our hearts to be cleansed and transformed. This is the baptism of fire (your personal Pentecostal experience). Jesus refers to this experience as the First Comforter. It is accompanied by gifts of the Spirit, which is an increase in your ability to perform God's work. Once you've received that, you can progress to know Christ personally (as in enter his presence and commune with him) as Jesus' disciples did. Those who get this far will receive further light and instructions from Him. If they prove faithful, he will introduce them to the Father, just like He did with Peter, James and John on the Mount of Transfiguration. Each of these experiences, the First Comforter (receiving the Holy Ghost), Second Comforter (receiving Jesus) and Third Comforter (receiving the Father), comes with additional glory. In other words, each of these events bumps you up higher in the level of salvation you obtain. Jesus promises the Second and Third comforter to his faithful followers in John 14:23, as well as other passages. The scriptures talk about a level of salvation that is obtained from another particular being, who is Mother. It does not refer to her as Mother. I will not reveal the name used in scripture here. I can be 99.9% certain you will mock what I've written, so there's not any need for me to expound on it. But that particular being grants a very important blessing that bumps you up to an even higher level of salvation. Mother is important. Satan hates her and all women, so he's convinced the world that she is merely some fantasy held by heretics. He also works hard to destroy God's idea of marriage and family, because that will keep people away from Her blessings as well. None of this is to take away from Jesus Christ and his Father. There is no way to obtain any of the further blessings without them. They are the Fundamentals of the gospel. Regardless, all of humanity ought to be glad for Mother. Her role in the creation was vital to our salvation. This is some of my understanding now, and I seek to deepen it. The Holy Ghost will teach those who earnestly seek God's truth. It's sad that the vast majority of Christians accept their limited understanding and the meager portion of God's work which we have as a totality of His doctrine. God is infinite. He and His truth are not constrained by man's lack of wisdom or the limits of a single book. And nothing you have to say about a formless, passionless three-in-one essence of love who fathered himself and prayed to himself will ever make half as much sense as what I've just described to you. Please study and pray about the deeper doctrines of Christianity and come to your own understanding. You can start by asking what it truly means to be God's child. You can ask why the Hebrew word for God (Elohim) is plural and gender neutral. You can ask what exaltation means, and what levels of salvation are possible. You can ask God anything. James 1:5.
