Lea’s comedic timing is such an underrated part of her abilities and I hate it because she’s so naturally funny and pulls of the comedy in this! UGH I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THIS SHOW LORD WILLING 😭😭😭😭
Very, very impressed. She and Ramin are perfect in their parts. She is just the right Fanny and Ramin the right Nicky. Thank you for a joy filled day. ❤
Michele Costa - This beats any pro shot I would ever hope to see. I was stunned by the star power, the glow of Ramin and Lea, the sparkle of the ensemble and the love that went into making this post.
We have a cast recording with this glorious, glorious woman, and I I am so thankful for that. You have no idea, but we need a pro shop. We freaking need a pro shot. It needs to happen.
@@chelseabaker1994 it’s when they do a live recording of a theater show and then post it on RU-vid or stream it on Netflix or something like that or sometimes they even aired on PBS but unfortunately they didn’t do that because apparently it would’ve been disrespectful to beanie if they had done that with Lee and I’m just sitting here like really really you fired this little twat because you knew she was no good but you’re still walking on eggshells around her I don’t get it.
This is one of my favorite songs in the entire musical because Fanny feels like she never had it so good and she’s just too happy to be married, not just married but to THE Nicky Arnstein. Such a fun funny number but like I love the theme behind it too
All I know is when people look back on the show, they ain’t gonna be thinking about beanie what’s your face? Oh no, no no no they gonna be thinking about the amazing Lea Michele.
They should have casted Lea in the first place, but no they had to be politically correct and be “inclusive”. When are the people in the entertainment industry gonna get the audience doesn’t want political correctness?
@@chelseabaker1994 I don’t know who you are, but I’ll be damned if I don’t agree with every word, you just said because I do I agree with every word you just said never mind the fact that this entire cast got robbed of the Tony that they rightfully deserved all us for six months they had to waste it on some talentless hack, because like you said they wanted to be politically correct well look where that got them just glad they waited until they got Lee a.k.a. their savior to do the cast recording because I can tell you right now if they’ve been stupid enough to do it with being whatever her name is no it would’ve failed it would’ve failed.
I love looking forward to the release of more videos from you. You’re a brave woman to sneak a camera and get all this good footage. Are you purposely releasing them slowly instead of putting them out all at one time right after you saw the show?
Unfortunately, the only ones that you can find that are full are there’s one with Julie and for whatever the reason there’s one with beanie, I’ve looked for a full one with Leah Michelle believe me I’ve looked, but there isn’t one even though there should be one if you ask me.
@@johnpickford4222 no she's not Beanie. She's Lea Michele. I met her mother at Her mother's funeral. My and Lea's grandmother's were sisters. I feel good about supporting a cousin I've never met when she has a voice like that. A finely tuned instrument.
Can you explain why many people say the production (like the sets and stuff) is not great? I’ve never been to a broadway show so I don’t know how it’s supposed to look like. 😅
@@345funnyboy To me it (the sets) looks cheap and fake and while everyone KNOWS they're not real, they have to be REALISTIC enough that it enhances the show and not distract from it and because they just aren't symmetrical to the ENTIRE stage it feels like the performers are in a BOX. Having said all of that I'm still going to see FG for my birthday!
@@345funnyboy Direction, choreography, set, light and costume design (none of which were nominated for a Tony) all contributed to this production. The producers and the director were responsible.
DRUOPS: The production was designed around (no pun) Beanie and it’s somewhat telling by the “lavish sets and costumes” what they really thought of her casting and performance so it was done on the cheap. Yes, Ryan Murphy should have built this around Lea Michelle (any relation to Michelle Lee???) several years ago when Beanie Feldstein would have been “Beanie Who?” How they raised any capital with THAT miscasting, only God knows. But then, only God knew of “President Donald Trump”!
@@johnpickford4222 Michael Meyer said he wanted Lea from the start, but didn’t do it cause she just had a baby. Im not sure I buy that. By the time rehearsals started her son was near two. I think theres more to the casting story than theyre telling. Lea told him in November that if they needed a replacement shed do it. That was long before the show even went into previews. Its all very strange. Its not like these people are inexperienced. And Michael certainly knows Lea and exactly what she can do.
Thanks for the video!!! I absolutely hate the staging of this though it literally makes zero sense and that big Montecarlo and the way he throws the money I just do not care for that. I mean are all these people supposed to be at her house?? Lol
I'm not crazy about the way this is staged. The song was very funny when Streisand sang it. Here, it's a throw-away. Lea Michele is much better on the other numbers in the show.
I'm not going to denigrate anyone's performance in this show I'm not saying any of them are bad. But the direction... I have seen nothing in the clips that make make it look anything more than pedestrian, and un imaginative 'Don't Rain On My Parade' is a great song but now I understand why it all about frenetic travel in the film as watch the absolute lifeless staging (which seems to be the case in most number except the one's involving Jared Grimes (Eddie). It's seems old school in all the most cumbersome ways.
She's the mortgagor, not the mortgagee. They got it wrong on Broadway the first time. They didn't fix it for the movie. And now they have it wrong again. Jesus Christ!
i love ramin karimloo and am very happy he is back in the states and on broadway, but their age difference is making me super uncomfortable. also, what is that trill thing lea michele constantly does at the end of a phrase?? kathryn gallagher does it, too (but ten times worse) and it drives me fucking nuts. i honestly do not think i could sit through a show of lea constantly doing that. does anyone know the actual term for it??
