she truly has one of the best voices ever. i had the opportunity to see her in a performance in san francisco many years ago at the "colour of christmas". when she sang solo, i literally cried during the entire performance and the woman sitting next to me had to give me a hug and tissue when it was over. that song can just touch a persons soul.
Philippines. What a small 3rd World Country but truly full of world class talents. Lea Salonga, Manny Pacquiao, Miss Universe Catriona Gray, Efren "The Magician" Reyes etc,. Wow! Just WOW.
Chuckie lol dunno if your comment is a compliment... i think mentioning that philippines as a 3rd world country is unnecessary. i think you can see that the philippines is fighting it’s way to be global.
@@oppanoona1105 How is it unnecessary? Philippines is truly a 3rd world country. He's just saying it as it is, no ill-intentions at all. I'd prefer a truthful comment than a juice colored one any day.
It's unnecessary to mention the Philippines as a 3rd world country in your comment! You could say a small developing country instead.Since recently, Philippines belongs to the developing countries by category and its by fact!!!
Now I know why the remake is not a musical. No one can beat the original song. Its either lea who plays mulan or no singing. Too bad lea has aged and cannot play mulan but is simply perfect
Lea should suggest a filipino fairy tale to Disney, like Ang Ibong Adarna, Florante at Laura, Mariang Makiling, Prinsesa Urduja, Biag Ni Lam-Ang to name a few. It's about time there is a Filipino Disney Princess or Hero up there. They should also hire other filipino talents aside from Lea like Rachel Ann Go, Eric Santos, Sarah Geronimo, Darren Espanto, Morisette Amon, Sam Concepcion, Christian Bautista, Katrina Velarde, Jed Madela and Regine Velasquez as the singing voices of the main characters.
@@kelsan5633 and for ur information, if she werent world class then no one would have casted her to sing any disney songs and in fact she sang more than 1 and even voiced a main character in the disney animated film industry. at ur face!!
Very nice...the thing is her version of the song is nowhere near as known or popular as the pop version of Christina Aguilera. This version is almost never sung in singing competitions.
I remember in elementary, my teacher ask me to sing and gave me the lyrics (Christina A.) I told her that was wrong and sung what was from the movie (Lea’s version)~ after that, I realized there was indeed Christina’s version but I love Lea’s~
