@@xyzmusicgrouphi I'm a great drummer to I'm 11 years old and half way through lead sheet on grade 8 then I will play mind the gap I got 92 on grade 6 I have been skipped on to grade 8 from 6 because I'm that good I've been in 3 papers an the radio so ye I'm very good (and I'm not joking at all)

Can't believe how much good these books actually do. I'm only between Grade 4 and 5 at the mo, but didn't realise how stagnant I had been with my drumming for almost 7 years before getting these books. Just playing what I was comfortable playing and not actually moving anywhere. Can't recommend reading music enough, particularly the grading books. This channel helped me along too, so thanks for that.

Hey Matthew, that is an excellent achievement! In this video, all the cymbals used are made by Sabian! Hi-hats, crashes and splash are all AAX cymbals and the ride is a Sabian Encore ride and the china we are unsure! hopefully, that helps! Stay tuned for more content like this
Hi Luc, Thank you for your kind words. At the time I used two flip cameras. I also recording into a audio interface with drum microphones. I then put this altogether in Imovie and put it up on youtube. :) Since then I have bought Gopro's and better microphones but the process is still pretty much the same.
hey mate, just wondering how u learnt the pieces - did u need a tutor to help you? currently i have no teacher and im struggling tp learn the pieces sounding fat!!! charlie
+Charlie Cooper Obviously if you haven't already, start with a lower grade. Other than that, the best thing you can do is learn the note values so that you can just read it to learn it. Also, watch videos. They really help because you can get inspiration for fills and stuff. Hope I helped you somehow :).

Haha. This is one of the easier tunes for grade 8. I would say Nosso Samba and Freight shaker are the harder two from the grade. Thanks for watching. Duncan
