With her emphasis on doorknocking, I know I should do it but I have absolutely no idea what to say to someone when I go doorknocking. Do you guys have any advice on what to say? Or should it mostly just be the basics like introducing yourself and giving information?
@USRealtyTraining
@USRealtyTraining 5 лет назад
Hi, Spring Birdy. This is a great question. When you're doorknocking it's hard to get past the salesmanship feeling, which could deter some people from opening the door. You want to connect with the lead but you also want to pitch them a sale. One strategy that we encourage students to do is to give the lead value when they open the door. If you want to make an interaction meaningful, give the person something of value. This gives them an incentive to listen to your pitch or your offer. Whether it's showing them the price of their home, and how much money they can make from selling it, to dropping off a business card for when they are ready to sell their home, always provide something that they will perceive as valuable. When you apply your attention to how to provide value, you'll be less concerned about what you should say. Your natural scripts will form around your goal of the conversation and you won't be walking into the interaction copying someone else's sales script. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Good interview despite the interviewer not listening and cutting Nikki off throughout. Wouldn't have to circle back to re-ask questions if he would just let her give an answer instead of going on tangents left and right. Please take this as constructive criticism to improve the interview process, I've subscribed and think the content was great if a little rough around the edges.
