I completely agree with the main talking point that this year's Premier Division has been great in terms of nail-biting at either ends of the table. Very healthy for the League. Pats haven't just won six in a row now, they have scored an average of three in each of those games and only conceded an average of one, which is sensational. Bohs put it up to them last night except for getting really basic things wrong: score your penalty, don't get a man sent off early in the second half. Not good enough. By the way, I'd be quite happy to see Pats make Europe because at least they would do something with it! Derry City have some kind of weird inner self-critic that tells them they are going to fail, I think. It's just all so negative in the mood all season, and I think Higgins has to take plenty of blame. All this nonsense about how they are all out to get Derry, which is rubbish, they are one of the best loved clubs in the League surely. My sincere apologies for doubting Waterford in their game against Drogheda, I said they would get smacked, I was wrong. This Bohs fan salutes you 😂
Crazy mad season. On the league title, the shadow of Shamrock Rovers has really rattled Shels and Derry and I think its Shams to lose now, they have the experience to get over the line. Pats run has probably come just a bit too late for them to take the title and they will likely run out of games. At the bottom, Bohs taking a point and not losing ground to Drogs over the weekend is probably the best they could have hoped for. Its gonna be an interesting last few weeks.
Pats are getting the luck at the right time. Any other club would have sacked their managers as in, derry and shels. No wins in 10, that's a sacking. Only it's the duffer premier league show, and Higgins who got derry to the cup final, they would both be gone.
Shelbourne have lost 45 points or the equivalent of 15 defeats yet are still ahead😂ah lads we have to admit it's the worse league in years no outstanding teams at all but makes for a great finish. I'd hate to be a top team playing a team that are safe with nothing to lose😉😉
Do a little bit of research lads before you come on. This narrative that drogheda have the measure of rovers recently? We've beaten them 4-0, 2-0, and had a 1-1 draw with them this year. Maybe a couple of years ago they caused us some trouble.
Your guest said it, or something similar like they're a bogey team for rovers. Don't disagree that for some stupid reason we've seemed to struggle against them over the last few seasons, but just not this one. Think rovers have enough experience to know how to win the last 3 games at such an important time.
