Leah, can do no wrong. Leah as a person is quite spectacular and her acting on the King of Queens has preserved her status as a positive role model in Hollywood. I'm glad she's free from that crazy cult. Love you Leah !!!
Actual and previous goverments Clinton, the colour president,I don t remember his name, sorry.Trump ,all of them are and we're implicated All this is a crime case Now I remember Obama With a judge order, policemen can Enter this scientologist building, the justice of the United States doesn t allow it
Maialeen I don't think you understand or maybe you didn't actually read the link?! "We could care less" does mean the same thing as "we couldn't care less" it is a saying that doesn't make sense but it's a saying nevertheless. They are trying to say that the are not interested in whether she wins or loses by using this old saying that seems to confuse some people including you ;-) However, I think we can agree on the fact that Scientology sucks, can't we :-)?
Miss Remini, I support you fully in all of your choices. I am bipolar and am now nearly symptom free due to modern psychiatric methods. Please continue to fight these bastards.
Ready Forums They said they could care less, meaning they COULD care less meaning they do care because if they didn't care, they would not be able to care
They didn't even write the comment correctly. They wrote "could care less", which implies a degree of caring. What they should have written was "couldn't care less". But yeah, if they really didn't care, why comment at all?
How can anyone believe anything the church leader says? Every single word out of his mouth fits the criteria of a narcissist who takes the spotlight off of his own actions and puts it on the person who's complaining, and not only shifts that perception but seeks to make that person look as bad as he possibly can. He doesn't just deny the allegations, he takes it further and defames the accuser. That's a big red flag and I'm surprised that people actually believe there's nothing going on. It's like this, one accusation does not a bad person make but many accusations by many different dependable witnesses form a pattern of misbehavior that *must* exist for that many accusations to come out. Narcissism is just the kind of mentality that enables the narcissist to deny all wrong doing, all bad behaviors, and deny that they even have a problem because their belief is in themselves so they don't believe they can do any wrong. But defaming others is proof of how wrong a narcissist truly is. It's a typical tactic and one that only a miserable wretch like David Miscavige would use. Deny his own wrong doings but make sure to point the finger of blame to the accuser so people start questioning their credibility. He's like the person who stirs up the bee's nest and then leaves the handler to get stung while he makes a hasty exit and saves his own ass. He's a despicable human being, not worthy of respect. His time will come however because his intentions aren't for the good of others, only the good of himself. The universe has a way of dealing with people like him. Karma is it? Yes.
Most probably, but in the society of women, and the influence of family well being, and safety. It is too simplistic to say it is " A "mans " construction. Anyone who knows anything about real life relationship between man and woman will know that's not quite honest. or true. The genders are two houses with their own power, and influence. Overlooking the power in the female house is certainly disingenuous or at least pretty superficial.
"Religions are all derived from the minds of men ." Sure. All of them have elements of wisdom and teach us to value compassion and kindness. All of them contain false beliefs also. "God doesn't..." Exist. God is imaginary.
richo61 Absolutely Rich, but Its going to take a lot to get many people of their thumb sucking delusion. Not to mention the amount of money tax free in the business.
I was in Clearwater trying to find info on the truth of Scientology and they told me to leave after following me to my hotel. I said no and told them that I would have the last laugh. The next day I got an official police report about myself and made a few hundred copies. myself and 6 other friends began to hand them out. In the top right corner of each flyer I put 'From the Desk of ' and then my name to declare that I was releasing this information and not the church. I said for 2 more days and they stopped harassing me. I went back a week later and started handing out reports of myself again, but printed on the other side were random Scientologist police records. Every time I stay there, they do not approach me. Also there are between 50 to 55 convicted child sexual predators and 20 or 23 convicted child porn producers.
Scientology: A religion invented by a Science Fiction writer on a lark. LOL. That so many could fall for it and then expand it to what it is today with all its rituals and trappings is hilarious. I always thought Leah was too smart for that. But when you are raised with a religion in a fundamentalist way, no matter if its Muslim, Christian, Mormon or whatever, it sticks in your psyche and its difficult to part with. All religions are just as ridiculous. Some have just been around longer than others and so they SEEM more legit. All are man made inventions to control other people. Preying on peoples very real good intentions and desires to be good and feel worthy.
When the "church" issues nasty attack statements against detractors and those who have left (like what it did with Leah, for instance) it only shows just how hypocritical the "church" really is. They claim to have all these answers to life, and ways to help people become better people, and form better relationships, and communicate effectively.....then turn around and act like petulant, litigious children throwing around immature insults. You even breathe so much as a criticism against them and they fly off the handle in a hypersensitive, hyperdefensive, control freak rage. It's like, really? And people are supposed to turn over their hard earned money to them for help and answers for how to be better, more effective people? That's who people are supposed to take their cues from? There's no maturity, no wisdom on display with them. Talking the talk, but incapable of walking the walk. Their behavior is the epitome of ego-based, lower self motivations of power, control and fear. I just wish any potential newbies would be smart enough to see this and realize "Why would I seek help from people who behave like that? If they're incapable of conducting themselves in mature, wise ways and keep their own affairs in order then how in the world can they be expected to help anybody else?"
Shannon H I know that. That was my point. So again I put forth: " I just wish any potential newbies would be smart enough to see this and realize "Why would I seek help from people who behave like that? If they're incapable of conducting themselves in mature, wise ways and keep their own affairs in order then how in the world can they be expected to help anybody else?"
@@JSSTyger And history has proven him to be an excellent president. In the meantime, how's your vote for Biden workin' out, now that we're three years in? Enjoying those gas prices? Enjoying those jacked up food costs? Did you make sure to give your hard earned money to the Biden's money laundering operation in the Ukraine? Or maybe you lined up for the j a b and your boosters and aren't even here anymore to respond to this. Who knows.
Thank you Leah for being honest and having the integrity to see through this criminal cult. I'm so happy for you to be finally free. Keep up the good work as you are loved so much.
I have a friend that disappeared into Scientology long ago. He's been into it for around 40 years now, and his life has not improved on iota. Last time I saw him, he had no job, no wife, no kids, and was living in a motel somewhere outside of Las Vegas. Scientology has ruined what could have been a normal life for him. He fits the profile of a "brainwashed person" perfectly.
Scientology is a vengeful (Leah is merely being fair-gamed, per policy) insidious menace to society, complete with private investigators, OSA, and many whose only job is to TAKE HER DOWN. Power to the People! We see you for what you are, Scientology, and are willing to defend those you wish to harm.
Why is this news channel using the word "defectors"?? Don't people usually LEAVE groups, not 'defect' from them? This was totally new language to me when I read an ex-CIA agent's book. Further, polygraphs, files, MKUltra?! They pretend what they aren't/fight what they actually are.
EuroHEV If the PD speaks to the person and the person is able to confirm they are not held against their will or being harmed, there is nothing they can legally do.
I think the expression Scientology are looking for is _we _*_couldn't_*_ care less_, since if they _could_ care less it wouldn't be much of a put down.
There needs to be an investigation on the disappearance of his wife. Nobody within the church will move in that direction, they can't even think in that direction.
***** Hm, do you have proof of what you say? My thinking was that if they can find her body, they will most likely have a squealer, and the kingpin fans. Once that happens, alleged records of pedophilers and murders will be exposed.
Christine Veazey if someone starts an investigation, the church will shut it down or it will be concluded as if nothing was wrong. Leah has a new show going on right now that interviews former members of the church and tells of their experiences. One of them was being observed by a member of the church through a camera. He filed a report, but, it was apparently "legal" even though the camera was observing his private property. The church knows the laws and finds out ways to cheat around them. They can close an investigation as well, as shown in the video.
Molly Margolis Hi Molly, I understand more about them from your post. It wasn't evident to me how persuasive and powerful they are, Maybe there are even people of their organization monitoring You Tube for posts that come up in the Comments sections of videos about them! Well, they better get ready. A person(s) who knows about the disappearance of his ex-wife will get information to the police. Someone knows what happened to her and it is just a matter of time.
Good for you Leah! You have a tremendous amount of supporters. We may just be words onto RU-vid commentary but The RU-vid community is in the millions and I believe majority support you. My ex-husband had me read L Ron Hubbard books in my teens. At first it made sense because I was looking for something and I thought maybe this could be it. After being a member for several years I decided it was not for me. I have no problem giving my money to a charity I believe in. But to commit to a contract which allowed them to take the morning was crazy to me. So I understand some of what you are going through but not all I'm not a famous celebrity I'm just somebody that was looking for a home as far as my religion was concerned. I admire what you're doing. You're stronger than you think and you look beautiful Dancing With The Stars.
Who would willingly join a church that says such rude and insensitive things about their previous memebers? I get that those memebers may have said things that can hurt a religion, but there are more appropriate ways to respond...
If they don't care so much, then why do they make such a rude comment. I'm sure money was given to shut up LAPD cause if his wife is okay, why isn't she seen in public?! It's cause IF she's alive she's being punished! TEAM LEAH!! all the way! :) Praying for you Leah, and here's hoping you find the One true leader our Lord Jesus Christ!
That closing statement made no sense. It said they "could care less", which implies a degree of caring. They should have said they "couldn't care less".
oh they "COULD" care less. how much less could they care? a lot less? a little less? unless they mean they couldn't care less. that would make more sense, wouldn't it?
This bit makes me so sad! Leah Remini, you stay positive! I know she's been out of this situation for awhile now, but I hope she knows there are people out here that truly care about her, and she not feel bad about herself. And, Ellen, what a very kind lady. Genuine friend.
Leah Remini your a super star & the country loves & support you. As for that leader of Scientology David so & so, don't know his last name or don't really care to know it is no different from the other leaders who fallen from grace. Leah you are still the Queen of Kings in my eyes.
If so many non members are worried for the wife's safety and whereabouts, why doesn't law enforcement start asking to see her? What's to stop them from locking someone away, or even killing them, and telling the world "they're in spiritual retreat, for x years now, but they send their regards" ?
It all comes down to money buddy. The "church" has a lot of money and lawyers and they certainly don't want people snooping about in their hierarchy especially if it looks like their leader murdered his wife (or had his wife murdered).
Oh I hear that dude, but police investigators have an onus to establish the safety of someone who may be in distress. I can understand low ranking detectives not wanting to get involved, I can understand the legal pressure the church can bring to bear on a cop, I can even buy the fact that many California top cops may be scientology themselves. But at some point, i would think (and hope) thr FBI would send an agent to interview her to establish her present whereabouts and safety. I would expect it for Joe citizen and this high profile schmuck alike. I mean, her family is worried are they not?
Milky Wayan That is where "REAL"money plays its part, these people who are to investigate are their friends. They probably do many favors for each other. Sounds like some movie shit but these things definitely happens in real life, the rich get bored and form groups.
Yeah BEE i believe that, all of what you said. And that's for contributing! Here's where it falls apart for me: Sci is filthy rich, but comparatively small potatoes compared to established fraternities, and compared to the U.S. government. You can get a lot of influence for their kind of money, agreed, but there's mountains of journalists, PI's, taxmen, and maybe even investigators. Just cos we don't know the FBI is trying to determine her whereabouts and condition, doesn't mean they aren't. I may be wrong, maybe they do have influence that includes federal law enforcement. But it only takes one guy looking for advancement in journalism or law enforcement, so of you buy them - you're buying top level guys.
Yeah I believe it. I lived in Arizona where there was a lot of Mormon people and the church had so many of the top rich people in their church community. They had their temples/church EVERYWHERE, There was no main street that you went to that you didn't see their very large place of worship, so you know they got money. If you belong to their church you can get a job very quickly, if you need anything they will do it for you. Now Imagine this church that has all these famous and rich people, they got some pull I would think. It could be getting investigated though, you never know about these things but I won't put it past anyone.
Correct! That closing statement made no sense. It said they "could care less", which implies a degree of caring. They should have said they "couldn't care less".
It's a business, pretending to be "a Religion" because the founder ,who was a Sci-Fi writer, got some clever legal people to see to it that it was given reilgious status They "preach" about self awareness, self help, ,and self fulfilment, and they rip the guts out of any family members who so much as question them. What they do,bottom line,is get people to part with their money. It's run by crooks, con men,and head cases which is what I absolutely believe Cruise is. It's bad news from top to bottom and I would love to see it implode. It's a con..plain and simple. A very successful one.
R Schlessel I agree with you completely and hope it does implode one day. BUT, I wouldn't be surprised if the higher echelon people ACTUALLY believe the crap, and with their devotion comes their lavish lifestyle... They deserve it right? Tom Cruise? Cannot watch a movie with him in it due to his slavish devotion to this cult, John Travolta, well, Pulp Fiction was great .
I had a gym teacher once, whose eyes were so wide, it literally scared me. I found out it was a medical condition he had that caused it: Hyperthyroidism. I wonder if she, too, suffers from it.
How amazing that ANY criticism--100%-- of this cult is dismissed by them as "lies" & those who DARE to speak out are discredited, impugned & many times, attacked verbally. What a bunch.
*The Babalon Workings In August 1945, on leave from his less than spectacular naval career, Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard was introduced toParsons. Jack was impressed by Ron's exuberance and energy and wrote in a letter to Crowley: "I deduced that he is in direct touch with some higher intelligence. He is the most Thelemic (Crowley's branch of magic) person I have ever met and is in complete accord with our own principles". Hubbard moved in and promptly gained the affections of Parsons' main squeeze, 19-year-old Betty Northrop. He was soon initiated into the secrets of the OTO and made Parsons' magical partner* www.bariumblues.com/jpl.htm
dude I want her to win all the way if she doesn't win im gonna be a wreck but I can say that im very proud of her for trying her very best and leah im rooting for you, you go girl lots of love
The dark side is in all of us gives us the strength to stand up and fight cause we use our anger and emotion and commands respect Scientology demands it so there fore receives little to none
The fact the LAPD shot down the missing person report filed, indicates they were paid off or are in on it or something along those lines. That is absolutely terrifying.
AT 0:45 LISA REMINI HAS HER HAIR UP IN A BUN, JUST LIKE IN THE KING OF QUEENS EPISODE ABOUT LIBRARIAN PHALTSGRAFF AND CARRY'S HAIR IN A BUN. Anyone remember it?
See, now this is why you americans need to stop saying "I could care less" If you COULD care less, then that means you care a little bit. Given that it COULD be less. If you COULDN'T care less, then your care level is zero, because we don't really have negative care. You might think I am being pedantic, but don't you think there's a chance the church's statement is playing on this as a means of telling the truth without revealing it?
Right on! That closing statement made no sense. It said they "could care less", which implies a degree of caring. They should have said they "couldn't care less".
Proud of her, I seen her interviews when she was a member and she was so brainwashed. Welcome back to the land of real people and real problems. Btw she is gorgeous!
For the record, Lea Remeni approached Tommy Davis at the wedding, not Miscavige. Because Davis handled the situation so badly, he has also left Scientology, along with his wife.
Sounds like 50 Shades of Scientology. They seem to spend a lot of time intimidating its members and anyone who disagrees with them. Leah has always been a hoot to watch and she was one of my favorites on DWTS. I'm glad she's found her strength and independence along with her new found freedom. Love her on the show the Exes. Surprised Kristy Allen, Tom Cruise, John Travolta and many others don't follow suit. At some point you have to find your sense of reasoning that something is terribly wrong and make it right.
i love the fact that an organization who supposedly is all about correct use of words has a quote here that is absolutely in correct. " we could care less" this is one of the most incorrectly used phrases. The correct statement is " we couldn't care less" . To say "we could care less" means that you really do care because there remains the possibility that you could care less about something
The Church of Scientology adopted a "hardball" campaign vs the IRS during the 1980s and early 1990s, which exerted maximum pressure vs the IRS. None of the following is disputed by Scientology officials and some of it was boasted about by David Miscavige in his October 1993 speech: - The IRS and its individual officers were sued for $128m. - 2,500 lawsuits were launched vs the IRS. - Private detectives were employed to find out what "crimes" IRS officials were guilty of in their private lives.
Scientology never takes blame for any allegations!! Also, where is the leaders "WIFE" ???? Can't believe the police or FBI aren't looking into where that poor woman is ....
that was awful nice of the church to say "after her being a member for 37 years" that they could care less if she wins or loses. That doesn't sound like any church i've ever heard of. I didn't know that churches were vendictive.
Leah Remini was introduced to Scientology in her youth, joined the Church’s religious order in her teens and was dismissed a year later for unethical conduct-including violation of sexual rules, petty theft from three Church restaurants, abusive behavior toward schoolmates and chronic truancy. Remini and her family continued as parishioners of the Church. She pressured her mother into letting her drop out of junior high school at 14, contrary to Remini’s attempts today to blame the Church for her lack of formal education. “I just said, ‘Screw this. If I want an education, I’m going to learn from my mother,’” she would later tell media. “I was gonna be a star.”
I love how the Scientology Crime Syndicate is suddenly concerned about wasting the police's time, when they waste the police's time to intimidate anyone who speaks out against their abusive cult on a regular basis
Watched an entire two hour video on this cult, theres a guy that shared his story and said every day from the time you go in to the time you leave they have people waiting at the door to try and force you through either guilt, persuasion, emotional abuse to sell you books, courses, ect which go for 32,000. the people selling you the book have a quota they have to meet or their punished so they say anything they'll even ask you to call your family, sign up for bank credit, get loan take out a mortgage. They recruit people who are aspiring performers by catching them in line waiting to sign up for work in LA and try and sell them courses and promise sell them "Why be an extra when you can be a star and do so much more" pitch. They then throw in a few famous names of celebs like tom cruise and say he'll be at these courses along with many other big names teaching these courses. Besides that they also have what they call purification where they give you drugs in high dosage and tell you to sit in the sauna for hours until you sweat out all the toxins. the guy said several people would sit in there so long that they'd lose consciousness or wouldn't act right almost as if they lost grip with reality. This group is also extremely homophobic and have illegal gay begun sessions so to speak where they believe they can make you straight. some of the other things were the sea program or whatevers its called (their pretty much recruiters) women recruiters cant have children they have to get an abortion if they become pregnant. the whole thing is very messed up you guys should look it up the video is 2 hours long but it says a lot not to mention most important HOW THESE GUYS GET YOU TO JOIN. be careful pretty much though they prey on people lookin to make it in the industry, people having trouble in personal life they'll exploit that and promise you that they can help you have a better life and it'll start with paying 20 dollars for courses then 50 then 100's and thousands and so on just be careful if your out there trying to make it and some creeper offers you a performance work shop or some better life package deal non sense.
Their own policy in Scientology (tm) I do not wat to get sued, says they can do anything to their enemies such as threaten, do physical harm, stalk, and there have even been rapes associated that Scientology set up against people
