FASHION-LESS SQUAD: Chipolopolo Striker Pours His Heart Out; Grant & Karin Have Turned The National Team Into A 'Business Venture'
Inform Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala, left out of the team for unspecified reasons, has poured his heart out on Zambia coach Avram Grant and his business relationship with Israeli agent Nor Karin.
Sakala has disclosed that he was called to the national team for next month's fixture against Morocco and Tanzania by assistant coach Moses Sichone but excluded by Grant.
The Saudi Arabia-based striker who has scored over 20 goals in all competitions says his differences with Grant started after the Africa Cup of Nations.
Sakala suspects his refusal to be part of Karin's agency after Grant's overtures could have led to a the fall-out.
The player poured his heart out in a conversation with FAZ communications manager Sydney Mungala.

Fashion is a good player. Where u think that fashion is selfish is at a moment of trial as in he takes risks of trying to score and it failed. But at the same time if he scores, the whole nation celebrates. So fashion is good and no one can convince me that hes selfish bcz in every battle, there are risks which he takes. Hes the best ingredient to our country.

Fashion Sakala is very patriotic and in my view , he deserves to be commended. What the coach reportedly told the young man is unfortunate. I see no pride in F.Sakala. He is been honest with himself and what we shouldn't forget is the sacrifice F.Sakala has put in the national team..... He has died for the team,he has offered his time,resources, dedication etc for the national team and I support him....Grant doesn't care for the team and once he leaves he will forget about the team and will remain with the team. So y was couch moze told to remove sakala from the team? To me it shows that someone selected the plyers and grant was just given the list of players. That should be the starting point to analyze the source of the problem. To me it shows that grant doesn't select players but just remove those he doesn't want. And those who follow football very well can agree with me that a good couch will always tell the why he is not making the line up. Again its not fair to say grant is a foreigner. If we don't want foreigners why do we call them in the first place? Let's learn to co-exist.
