I just moved to Leander and the main feedback I hear is that there's not a lot to do yet. But honestly, a quick 20-minute drive around will show you all the land up for grabs and the new retail development underway. Not to mention Leander Northline and Leander springs coming. There's a lot on the horizon, and once it all comes together, property values are going to skyrocket. So, investing now could really pay off in a few years.
All these videos don’t paint the realistic picture of living in Leander. There’s nothing to do out there and it’s too far from Austin to justify these prices. It’s sucks out there…
Hey, different strokes, eh? ☺️ We talk to people all the time who LOVE living in Leander. But I do agree that, if you’re moving there for close access to Austin, you’re going to be disappointed. But if you enjoy Leander for what it is, it can be GREAT for so many people!
@@HarpethRealty Yep you got that right :) most people that I know who have moved to Leander regret it but fortunately some were able to sell before prices dropped further. it’s simply too far from any activities for younger people, restaurants, bars, and social events. Also, the schools aren’t exactly what I’d say exemplary. Georgetown is even worse and things worsen as you get to Liberty Hill and beyond.
