Wish my maths teacher was like him.. Not saying my maths teacher teaches bad, he good infact well known in the community but he's just sooo strict and hot headed and rarely smiles...
The more I practice this, the more I realise it is superior to lattice method as well as classic multiplication. It takes out all the tiresome addition and writing up numbers of these methods.

It is easy! Just have a look at our 2 by 2 multiplication and see this one again. You will get a clear idea of how to proceed with any bigger numbers like 4 by 4 or 5 by 5 and so on.
Good luck keeping all these numbers in your head correctly. It's a nice technique for pen and paper, but you need a good visual memory to do this in your head. I don't think practicing will work, unless you are a child and your brain is like a sponge.If you are an adult, you will struggle and be frustrated. Just use a calculator.
