Hi there! Really appreciate your comment. You can actually find my tutorial on pre-jump routines here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MV_HrBXSZAw.html One key here which I actually forgot to mention is by putting your index finger between the handles/rope to prevent yung pag-tangle ng rope especially when doing the one-hand swing. Also, always follow the motion of the rope with your wrist rotation. Hopefully this helps. Just let me know how you did or if you need more tips. Thank you! 😄

Hi Ron, thanks for instruction! I would like if you showed a full length view of you standing on your rope to show how long it should be. Also, why do you have knot/s in your rope? Is that to quickly shorten your rope? If so, when/why would you want it to be longer? Should the rope be longer for DUX versus DU? Thanks!!

Hello Vanilla G! Thanks for watching this tutorial. For a more detailed information regarding the rope length, you can check this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HYkCBscT9v4.html. I tie knots on the rope to adjust or shorten it. The length of the rope actually depends on your technique and level. Most beginners start with a longer rope since they usually have a wider positioning of the hands. As you progress and improve your technique, therefore keeping your arms and wrists closer to your waist, that's when you need to adjust and shorten your rope. The video link above also explains why/when you should adjust your rope length. I hope this helps! 😄👍🏻

@@rontalon Thanks Ron!! Okay, I watched the second video!👍 I'm still wondering when YOU unknot your rope to get extra length? I.e., is it when you are doing crossovers and tricks? Triple unders? Or? (I get that beginners should have longer ropes.) Thanks again!!

If you are finding it hard to execute the double under variations like the crossover DU or side swing cross DU, then having that extra length might help. I personally prefer shorter ropes for better control and efficiency, regardless of the trick that I do. 😉

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to watch my video. I would recommend the regular (5mm) PVC rope for the DUX (mainly for DUs).

in the Cross Open Double Unders, is the uncross faster than the cross?

Hello Justin! Actually, the timing for the XO/OX DUX is just similar to your timing for the regular DU. Remember to keep a steady pace and rhythm when executing both. Another factor would be your form. The closer the arms are to the body, the better you can execute the DUX.

My rope not able to go through 2 revolutions help!!!! Was I not jumping high enough or just not quick enough with my hands

Hi Xu! Three factors might be the reason why: 1) Rope is too long which makes it harder and slower to rotate, 2) Hand speed is not fast enough to execute the DU cross, or 3) You might be overdoing the cross motion, extending your arms outwards too much, making it difficult and delaying the recovery. The tutorial has some tips that can help improve your tekk. Thanks!

Any tips po to avoid bending knees when doing DU and DUX?

Are you bending your knees just to keep you from tripping? If you are tripping everytime you keep straight knees/legs while doing DU or DUX, then the first thing you should do is to adjust your form. By keeping your arms closer to your body, you are able to create additional vertical clearance, therefore no need no bend your knees. You may also want to consider the rope length to just right. Not too long or short.

The problem I had with the DUX is that my feet always automatically turn to a dolphin kick when I transition from a normal DU to DUX. Everytime I did the DUX, it turns to a dolphin kick 😭 How can I avoid this?

Hey bro! Thanks for reaching out. Perhaps you could try adjusting the rope length a bit longer so you would not need to do the dolphin kick. This way you can practice your form until such time when using a shorter rope, your legs gets used to keeping straight when doing the DUX. Let me know if this helps. Thanks! 😁

Kuya normal lang ba magkaroon ng mga bakas ng ropes sa kamay tumatama yata eh HAHAHAHAHA tsaka pag nag i skip ako minsan nakaka 12 lang ako tas sumasabit. Di kaya sa size ng rope yun?

Yup normal lang naman na magkaroon ng marks kapag natatamaan ng rope. Madalas mangyari yan HAHA. Possible rin na yung size ng rope mo is sobrang ikli or haba kaya sumasabit. You can check yung video ko for beginners about rope sizing and jump technique para ma lessen yung sabit sa rope.
