Your pronunciation of the R in ren is very difficult to copy. would it be acceptable to say ren with the more English sounding R ?

1) Tā zhèngzài dǎ diànhuà ne or Tā zài dǎ diànhuà. (He is calling) 2) Tā zhèngzài shuìjiào or Tā zài shuìjiào. . (He is sleeping) Above which sentence part is correct. Where we use zhèngzài and where we use "zài" . Please clear the difference. Thanks

Both are correct. Comparing to zài + verb, zhèngzài + verb emphasises more on what is going on.
