2 hours of lectures and 3 hours of lab exercises and you showed the same stuff in 12 minutes. Well done. Thank you

without those 2 hours of lectures and 3 hours of lab exercises, you wouldn't have understood much from this video.

+Ian Dabre I disagree. Just watched this for the first time, without any prior html work, and pretty much understood it. It's not that complicated. Time to time I had to replay parts, but it's actually quite easy to understand..
@IanDabre07

cutipowinic so technically you watched the video for more than 12 minutes. if you had done a prior study of html even basics you could have watched this video without replaying any part. :)

There is no difference in the code itself. the only thing some text editors will do is automatically place elements for you.

While the "learn html in 12 minutes" videos were brilliant and thought me everything I needed to know to start with HTML and create a desire to expand my knowledge by discovering new tags on my own and applying them on test websites this video I'm afraid was not good. It started off great with that piece of paper and it everything with the tags and the whole HTML part was clear to me, but then you started of with CSS too fast and introduced far too many CSS elements and although I understood what was happening it was nearly impossible to memorize everything. So I think you should do another CSS video which firstly starts with the explanation of hash and dot and then slowly go through all of the elements such as float, padding etc. simmilar to how you did your HTML videos. Hope you will take my suggestion seriously and do another video because you explained html in the most simplest way and I am sure you can do it with CSS too.

Go to Udemy.com and look for deals. There are a lot of them. Look for the courses with the most students. Hope this helps!!!

Seems to be that the word "selected" is somehow a reserved word and cannot be used to name a class. I change the name to something else and now works.

One of the few ones that focus on explains from "what you want to get" and then "how write the code you need to get it", and not only "what happens, when you write especific codes", amazin work and love how you start from hand made -> coding -> final digital result

Great class, but what is the goal of going so fast that a newbie is hardly able to follow?
@jakewrightnet
@jakewrightnet 9 лет назад
Because most people are impatient and want the results immediately so I try to make the videos short in an attempt to actually teach some good practice to people who don't want to invest lots of time in learning languages thoroughly.

Jake Wright I understand, but I made a mistake somewhere and it's kind of hard to spot it afterward at this pace. I need to redo the whole thing and nobody's saving time doing that. But thanks anyway, these tutorials of yours are great! I'm a print graphic designer who is trying to learn html/css/javascript to follow the rest of the world in the internet adventure.

Hans Langer exactly! I felt a little rusty and needed a quick refresher and as he sped along I followed because I understand and just needed some reminders. I guess that's where it's extremely useful
