Great tutorial! I wish both you and you tube would have been around when I was learning the art. Mom was my teacher and because of her I learned how to read patterns. I have since made countless items and some are still used and enjoyed. Thanks for taking your time and talent to teach newbies and some of us long timers as well.

I just LOVE this , it turns out gorgeous no matter what yarn you use. I've done 4 so far, one in big twist, one in big twist twinkle, and one in Bernat Velvet (my personal favorite) and one in pink for BCA that I have a pink ribbon pin I'll be using instead of a button, they've ALL turned out beautiful. Pretty stitch pattern would be nice with a triangle shawl. Nice scarf I like it. Your videos are so nicely done so easy to see I have trouble seeing sometimes when a camera is to far away. You have some very nice projects 😊

Hi&thank you for this beautiful tutorial! I'm going to try to make this with jus normal v st's since yarn I'll be using is Bernant blanket and will be pretty poofy to begin with, idk maybe the st u used may work. Ill have to play with it & let you know how it turns out. I saw ur faux fur one but, my eyes jus cant handle that, sorry. God bless you and all my love to your family!

Thank you for your great tutorials Crystal!! I made this using Isaac Mizrahi yarn from Michaels which is classified as a number six Super Bulky but really it's not much bigger than a number four worsted weight and it's kind of getting heavy and I think it's a little bit bigger than the one you made I haven't finished it because I'm to the point where I got a big rectangle. And I'm not really sure what to do with it at this point I don't know if it'll work out for the cowl everything to be too heavy I'm gonna keep going for a little ways longer but I think if I could send you a picture maybe you could give me an idea of what else I can do with it I really appreciate all your help thank you so much for all your tutorials I watch quite a few of them and I've made purses that you have shown me how to make thank you

Hi Crystal... I need your advice. In India we get yarn which we can crochet by maximum 4.5mm hook. Can you suggest what should be the breadth and length of this scarf? Because by using 4.5 mm hook, I'll need to do more chains.

I love this stitch ❤️ It's so pretty and looks complicated, yet it's so easy to crochet. Thank you again, for another great tutorial. One question....you seem to have so many different selections of yarn. Does your local Walmart carry all of these varieties or do you need to order some of them? My Walmart doesn't seem to have a very wide selection of yarns. It bums me out that there are so many available, yet so hard for me to get my hands on. We do have a JoAnn's and a Hobby Lobby, if you can afford to shop at those ginormous prices! I know I certainly can't. And still, they also seem limited in their selection of yarns as well. It's rather disappointing to have to order and pay additional shipping just because our shopping choices are so expensive and restrictive. And even after ordering online, then you have to wait to get your items. Aargh.....very frustrating!!

+Kris Heathman Thanks so much.... My local Wal-Mart doesn't have much either... I buy most of my yarn online at Wal-Mart.com They have everything much cheaper than a regular craft store... It's free shipping on orders over $35 or if I only want a couple skeins, I just have them ship it to my local Wal-Mart for free and I pick it up next time I'm there... I hate waiting for it to ship too, but I live so far away from any craft store, I have no choice :(
