Hi Here We Mow Again! Our advice is to either put a havahart trap next to your plant in hopes of trapping it, or situate chicken wire around it. Hi film populer, when you cover the vine, as the video shows, you must leave 6 inches for the vine to keep on growing out. So if you cover the trunk entirely it will not be able to expand and your pumpkin plant wont be able to grow larger.
