Great video, all those recipes look delicious & beautifully displayed with fruit & nuts as a finale! I remember making shortbread at school which took great effort mixing the ingredients by hand! 😂. Shortbread is a Scottish biscuit & if chocolate/caramel is added, it's known as millionaires shortbread! The first cookie is very similar to Rolly pollies that we make here in Maine out of leftover pie crust. Your version looks even yummier.the seniors at church make the marshmallow thingy but they do it a little different. they use mini marshmallows and stir the melted chocolate and peanut butter all in and then they press it into a pan and cut it in squares. It is one of my favorites! Oh and they use the chunky peanut butter too. 😁
I can’t wait to try these for the holidays (or any day). I’m not a baker but I know I could handle making these yummy treats. Also I may even try to half dip some of the shortbread ones in melted chocolate. Thank you!
Hi, Emmy (and Paul, too). I've only recently discovered your channel, and it's meant so much to go back and binge on all the videos. Each morning I enjoy a couple with my coffee. :) Your grocery haul bargains are so much fun to watch, and my husband and I love trying the recipes; I doubt I'll ever make another shepherd's pie without throwing in a can a creamed corn. Delicious! Side note: we were engaged at the Nubble at sunrise 26 years ago last June. Your picture of the lighthouse is what led me to click on your Getaway Vlog, the first one I watched. Sad Christmas season... I usually bake over ten different types of cookies...freeze and have on hand for parties, gifts...making plates but NOT this year....Don't want to make us or anyone else feel uncomfortable with homemade stuff with this pandemic.... We personally don't do any take out food since February... California is on high alert...as I know New York is.. Can't wait for life to be normal

Such unique recipes, it was delightful to see something other than peanut butter blossoms or crinkle cookies (not that those aren’t delicious!). Everything you made looked amazing, but I will say the no-bake marshmallow treat definitely had my heart with the chocolate and peanut butter combo!
The shortbread cookies reminded me of my 6 th grade self. The lunch ladies would sell homemade shortbread cookies for 5 cents. What a nice breakfast treat with a 5 cent container of milk. Who knows how much school milk sells for today. Happy thanksgiving 🦃 everyone.

Marshmallow recipe looks so yummy....Reminds me of Christmas Church WIndows except use colored mini marshmallows instead of white.........Woinder if your marshmallow recipe would work without the peanut butter
All the cookies look delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipes. I wonder if you could use half the butter on one side of the Palmier cookies, then sprinkle the sugar mixture over them or dip them before baking.

Hi Heather! 2 sticks of butter is equivalent to 16 Tablespoons of butter. You cook them at 325 degrees Fahrenheit. All recipes are always linked in the description box of my videos. I halved the shortbread recipe.
