6 eggs, room temperature
3 cups cake flour or All-Purpose flour, sifted
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla extract
½ tsp lemon extract
Icing:
2 cups confectioners sugar or powdered sugar
4 tbsp milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract

I have a sifter from the old days that belong to my mother. I did see some at Walmart about the same size as mines. I hope you have some luck. That cake looks delicious, can’t wait to make it!!

No, no mistake 😌 I never thought to add salt back in. I always use unsalted butter. Never thought to add the salt back in. However, to me the cake is taste beautiful but next time I’ll have to add just a touch a salt.
