I agree her instructions are so easy to follow and I enjoy creating "anything" from Michelle. She is my favorite tutorial go to!!!!! I have wasted money on bad tutorials lol not too much though! Not everyone has that gift to teach!!!!!

I have painted this twice now and will do a third one today, because each time I paint it for myself, it sells. As a matter of fact the one I will paint today is already sold. Thank you for this cute picture and teaching us how to paint it. It’s a very popular painting among my family and friends.

I watched when this was first set out for us. I love it. I can't keep up with you so I have to watch it multi times as I paint. Is there anyone else as slow as me or should I just stop painting?
I am very slow and with lots of life interruptions - BUT it's OK, as I will always get back to it and continue - then I love it and am very proud of myself, both of my new talents and also that I finished it and didn't give up!!! Keep going - you'll love it!!! xoxo

I’m in the process of painting this cute little guy! My very first painting with Michelle! I’m enjoying the process very much but I am unsure if my canvas is primed? My paint doesn’t seem to cover as smoothly as hers. Maybe it’s just a cheap canvas? Or maybe my paint is too thick? So many beginner questions! But I’m learning as I go. I’m happy with what I’ve done so far. Hoping I can finish it tomorrow. I know one thing….I’m HOOKED!! 😃😃😆
Hi Carol, I purchase all my canvases already primed. It's easier for me considering how much I paint. Even if your canvas is already white when purchased, you can still use a layer of acrylic gesso for a smoother surface. @@michellethepainter. thank you so much for your response Michelle! I was reading up on this last night. My canvas is white (Artist’s Loft brand, purchased at Michael’s), so I just assumed it was pre-primed. I couldn’t find any reference to it being primed on the label though. It is quite rough in texture and I’m finding I have to water down my paint in order to get smooth coverage. I will definitely try the gesso on my next one. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials. I have about 6 of them picked out that I want to try 😊 Can’t wait to see what you come up with next! 😃
