How do you stop bits getting onto the wet lacquer? Superb video 👍🏼

Bits can happen but using a decent fast drying lacquer.. wetting the floor and keeping the general area tidy always helps

Great job, I done mine ages ago, can I also add, it looks even better if you use a bit chrome polish on the bits while they are off, makes them really stand out more against the black

@Porsche 911 when I refer to the base coat I mean the main colour coat. I usually refer to anything under that as an undercoat (like on some reds/blues etc

I' m positive you can , although the 1k paints are not as durable and shiny as 2 k paints

Devilbiss gti pro lite 1.3 for lacquer and either a devilbiss sri pro 1.0 or iwata lph 80 1.2 for base

So, until 6:05 the surface looked like a bubbly mess, but then all of a sudden within 2-3 seconds it became super smooth and shiny??? How??

@@cvrpov It happens during the 2nd layer of lacquer. Looks-wise, it is the same gun as used for the 1st layer. Anyway, didn't expect it to become so smooth all of a sudden. Nice.

The first layer is just a light dust coat. The second layer is applied much heavier and the lacquer flows/levels out to achieve the smooth glass like finish

Hi Ik this is probably the most weird question and probably not worth your time can I get lost of what I will need to be a smart repair paint sprayer Like the tools And extras like the what chemicals you use Literally everything if you can please

@@cvrpov true.... but it is much easier.. good video for instruction on how to go about refurb using the spray painting way. Wasn't knocking it.. I just prefer cutting time and steps 😉
