Going to restart dot work while waiting on course to start. Great way for learning needle placement. And try to get this figure 8s down.

Well I only had enough time to black out 8 of my 60 squares. I'm super pumped to get them all filled in. Plus I'll make sure to outline all my squares before I start my dots.

was actually really surprised by this lesson, it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. and it was quite clear figure eight which felt most natural to me

Hi Ben!! Last week, I got inspired to try tattooing. I found you on RU-vid right away. (Great SEO usage!) And I'm so grateful. I've been watching your videos and I've made it here. So far, I'm just watching, geeking out and taking it in. Learning, taking notes. But tonight, I stenciled out the first practice assignments, and I plan to start the videos again and work every day, in proper video sequence, just like you said to do. One task a day for at least an hour. I'm going to follow along and surrender to the process of truly learning the skin medium. I am a natural artist and have been able to develop and excel on everything from canvas to custom cakes, pencil to royal frosting. I can't wait to learn skin from you. Once I make it through the 30 days, and the time to become competent enough, I'll tag your facebook account in a big thank you post, in the form of photos of one of my more detailed drawings, (one I designed for the intent of tattooing on myself) the matching tattoo on fake practice skin, and probably also the actual tattoo I'll put on my skin. I think it would be cool to share what all your hard work and teaching has done for just one Canadian girl, turned student. Thank you for your time! I wasnt sure how i was going to like this application because i have drawn and done shading a certain way for years- but this is such a cool technique!

The figure 8 was easier and quicker for me however the star ones was easier on my hand. Thanks again for showing us all this technique and making it look and feel so easy!

Awh geez this was a hard one! It was definitely hard to keep going but I took breaks about every 4 squares and got 2 rows of 7 done. I love this course and I’m planning on buying the 6 month when I come to the end. I’ve learned so much are we’re barely on lesson 9

08:04 a 0.25mm is a bugpin needle. this one is .30m also called double zero's
