You forgot a major part that could cause your ssd to break is by not removing the sticker on the m.2 ssd itself where it says 980PRO. Most people forget that and that would make your temps hotter rather than better. Linus Tech Tips also said it from one of his videos

I didn't know that the ssd heatsink had a peel. Thank god for gigabyte misaligning the peel and i just ripped it because it looked ugly lol.

Why not remove the paperas sticker on the ssd itself? I cant imagine paper is a good thermal conductor
