This has really inspired me. I stopped skateboarding about 10 years ago because I felt like I wasn't making enough progress in my tricks. However, after discovering this channel and watching videos nonstop for about a week I went back out today and picked up where I left off. I can't wait to work my way up through tricks the right way and become the skater that I wanted to be when I was 12

Dude, at very first , get a nice and clean Ollie which is pushed forward in air and is landed on the four wheels. Don't do rocket ollie. Then start either heelflip or kickflip. You will quickly pick up some points in these flip tricks EVEN though you don't land it in 30 minutes.

For one his back foot never leaves the ground 90% of the time he pushes it out too much. He also doesn’t practice unless moneys on the line. Maybe find someone who is really interested in learning and will be practicing in their off time as well as on camera.

You’re teaching him wrong, what he should do is understand the physics of the board and the axis it rotates on. Just pop and flick what feels comfortable in the direction of a heel flip and boom. Instant progress. All you need from there is commitment.

I don't know why, but heel flips we're always easier for me, but varial heelflips and laser flips are extremely hard for me. It's weird but true.

Mowgli tips are so helpful helpful I was tryna heelflip for about half an hour and even though I didn't land one they were fully flipping before I couldn't even get it to flip

This is hard to watch... I like the concept but it seems like he doesn't even want to be there.. and honestly there's no amount of money you could offer this guy to make him actually commit to a flip trick. Why don't people mention the back foot in teaching ollies and tricks? Every time I see someone struggle with tricks, I tell them to lift their back foot up and they seem to have a better time

i think after you learn him a couple tricks standing still you should do skate supports like you did with lance with some ollies over boxes or drop ins or jumping stairs

I think when people first learn to skate the motion of the trick gets explained to them but they focus too much on the words used so they end up kung fu kicking the board excessively instead of understanding that it takes finesse and not alot of force to do a flip trick
