Hello, Maha. Recently I discovered your channel and watched several of your teaching Arabic Videos. Really enjoyed them and way you teaching Arabic is fun and encouraging . Cos of recent decision of learning Arabic I'm still having difficulty to pick a certain dialect to learn. I find another source on RU-vid and read the comments. Apparently that was Egyptian Arabic and not a few people did comment negative way on that video for instance '' this is not Arabic'' etc . I assume people who commented on that video are Arabic speakers. my Q is '' is there any prejudice within Arabic speaking region ? it might sound silly but which dialect is considered Arabic language ? what Arabic do you teach?

معظم الأجانب يستحيل عليهم لفظ هذا الحرف بشكل مثالي لذلك أعلم طلابي استخدام البديل من اللهجات كالحرف g من العراق و الخليج و اليمن و السودان أو الحرفa من الشام أو مصر Most non-native speakers are unable to pronounce this letter perfectly, so I teach my students to use alternative dialects such as the letter g from Iraq, the Gulf, Yemen and Sudan, or the letter a from the Levant or Egypt.

Hello Maha! I speak English, Spanish and Russian. How easy could it be for me to learn Arabic? They say Spanish and Arabic share many words and sounds, Russian has 6 cases. I guess Arabic also borrows many words from other languages?
@djazayri213
@djazayri213 3 года назад
Some words of the Arabic language (Andalusi accent pronunciation) has passed to Spanish (especially Andalusian Spanish) but you need to speak Arabic already to recognize them. Some sounds are the same too but the languages are very different. The Arabic language mainly borrowed words from Persian. Some others from Turkish. More recently from English and French for some modern concepts like "Ideology" for example even if you can use a real Arabic word which has different meanings that can correspond to this or internet which is the same in Arabic). However, the Arabic accents borrowed from the previous peoples, for example in the Maghreb from berber languages, from the Coptic in Egypt, from the Nubian languages in Sudan etc. Arabic is hard. Start by learning the alphabet (the sounds, the reading, the writing) and the pronouns. It’s a good start.

@TUG657
@TUG657 3 года назад
@@nafdikyaaqsa You’re extremely ignorant. Learn the history and the facts. First of all just to clarify, I have many problems with the current policy of Israel, but if you have a problem of Israel existing than you might be anti-Semitic or highly misinformed.. Jews have a right to live on the land of Israel, historically and morally. Jews have a way longer history of living on this land, they used to live on this land, but unfortunately they were expelled by the Romans. Israel tried to live with the Palestinians together peacefully under the distribution plan, but their leaders have chosen war. Even after Israel won, Israel offered the Arbs to live in Israel as equal citizens, and many of them choose to live with the Jews and today 20% of the population in Israel is Israeli-Palestinian. In the only few cases peace tried to be executed in an agreement with the Palestinian leaders, terrorists have attacked innocent people in mass terrorist attacks that killed thousands. Which is a true shame because most Palestinians aren’t terrorists at all, and their chance for peace, as well as the Jews chance for peace was ruined because of extremists from both sides. You can be critical about Israel without being anti-Zionist which is essentially anti-Semitism, because Zionism is simply the belief that Jews have a right to live on their land. And if you think Jews don’t have a right to have one state of their own in which they can protect themselves and live peacefully, you might be a bigot. After thousands of years of tremendous hatred and anti-Semitism, especially after the Holocaust in which 6 million Jews were murdered, Jews wanted to return to their home, and live safely, in Israel. To be clear: I’m against Settlers stealing Palestinian territory, and I condemn any injustice-killing. You might be saying “the IDF kills innocent children” and even though there are unfortunately extreme cases, the IDF doesn’t just kill people, they only kill terrorists and people who try to kill other people. After the IDF neutralises the person who tried to attack, they bandage him and send him to the hospital. The IDF isn’t allowed to kill anyone who is innocent, if someone kills someone innocent they go to jail. You might say: “Israel sends rockets to Gaze and kills innocent people!” But the truth is Israel only defends itself. Israel warns the innocents before they target Hamas buildings they keep weapons inside civilians homes. But unfortunately Hamas forces the people to stay inside and that is the reason for the terrible list of poor Palestines that were killed. I care for the people in both sides, I’m telling you that the number of Palestinian deaths is terrible, but have you ever talked about the Israeli side? Have you ever condemned the terrorist organisation Hamas? Have you talked about the Israeli people who died? They don’t include terrorists, they include innocent people who died from rockets, bombs, from stabbing attacks, from being burnet by Palestinian terorists, and people who just try to protect their country. You have no idea what apartheid even is, all the citizens that live in Israel have equal right, just like any country. In your ignorant logic every country is apartheid because every state has borders and every state protects itself. There was no ethnic cleaning, because all arbs were offered to live here peacefully together. I hope peace will come, and it requires from both sides to grow up and to give up on some things, which unfortunately is not what’s being done toady. I believe in a two state solution, but even that solution is extended complicated and dangerous, history has proven it. It need to be done extensively carefully, because there could be a scenario of the same thing that happened in Gaza. The saddest thing is the Hamas was chosen in a supposedly democratic vote, and that’s extremely disappointing, because peace is done with people, not with terrorism. And just FYI: because of people like you, who constantly spread dangerous misinformation and anti-Semitic nonsense more and more Jews around the word get attacked, kids get bullied at school. Because of people like you. There is literally date that shows that anti-Semitic attacks around the world are raising. 🇮🇱☮️🇵🇸 I’ll keep spreading this message, while people like you do the opposite.
