This is a very good way to approach the pronunciation and articulation of the Arabic sounds. Your RU-vid videos are very helpful to teach Arabic to my non-native speakers. The clarity and accuracy of the subject covered along with visual and auditory techniques are truly appreciated! Thank you for making my Arabic teaching journey professional as well as efficient. Jazzakum Allahu Khairan!
one of my junior helped me to learn the pronunciation of letters by sitting face to face. She first pronounces it and then ask me to repeat . She understood that my lips were the mistakes. She then gave a mirror. And she said She will repeat again and asked me to watch her lips. And then she told me to repeat by seeing in mirror . Then i realized her lips were round enough and mine was flat little open mouth. I then repeated the letter with lips correct. Alhamdulillah The pronunciation got correct . But all letters don't need the round lip .That helped. Then another friend taught the correct makhraj of letters . And now this video . Hope this comment will help anyone .
You are welcome, don't forget you can always send me your voice recording on Twitter and I'll give you my feedback and see what you can work on if you still need improvements. Good Luck :)
People thing this sound is similiar to k and tryna find out it somewhere atound k this is why yhat's proble.atic to pronounce clear q sound. Actually its closer sound to Kh. Hard wheezing kh(j in spanish, ch in german) or french r is voiced kh. Q is just shorter and more sharp kh.
Qaf ق /q/ not the only uvular sound in Arabic. In standard Arabic خ and غ are prounounced as voiceless uvular fricative /χ/ and voiced uvular fricatives /ʁ/ respectively, but in some Arabic dialects, especially Egyptian, they're pronounced as the velar /x/ and /ɣ/.
Am I doing this wrong if my gag reflex triggers when I try to make this sound repeatedly? My tongue keeps sliding to too far towards my throat after a few times saying it.
He is a perfect real strong sound En English the word : Caeser It sounds weak In latin is stronger : qaysar In Arabic is really dangerous : قيصر! Q(ق)-aysar
